“I feel dirty” LMAO. Yeah cutting pieces seems like heresy. The engine blocks definitely should have been chrome if that’s how they’re advertised. Great review btw!
@StuddedGarage thanks man I appreciate that!! Totally agree - product should be as-advertised. I feel like I need extra tools everytime I build these sets 😂
What a beautiful looking design! Huge props to LoxLego for this design! It's always interesting seeing how LEGO-adjacent products turn out and this seems to be one that is quite comparable!
I fell in love with those printed calipers! Sucks that the engine doesn’t have any 😢 “Cut here” is WILD lol But my god, those wheels are gorgeous!! Those scissor doors! 👌🏼
Between the mixed parts and cutting pieces up, this is some Frankenstein levels of building. Doors that open like this redeems it somewhat. Solid point about the RC, I hadn't considered that, it just sounds fun! Crazy to see the price difference though, wtf!
@my2credits yeah it's pretty wild! Definitely wasn't expecting to chop pieces up. I'm guessing some of the parts used for this build are quite rare and contribute to the high price? But that's just a guess! The small CaDA RC sets are fun, but if you're into the $200 range - just get a purpose built RC car. I guarantee they are WAY more fun 😂
@@legoautoz it is pretty close!! The Sian contains around 60% of the parts needed, I believe. I think the parts just needed to be cut to look better. It will work with the uncut parts for the paddle shifters, but they will stick out and look weird
Good review..the best is stretching if it shows printed or sticker in the instructions and it dont in the set and the wheels not the color they show ...n the roof not being there its far from the best ..and the price is ok still though but you did good finding the positive..if they sent it to me and i seen all this id probably send it back to them lol
personally i think the roadster works fine without roof, and it would have been better if it was just advertised as having no roof. about no prints, no stickersheet, wrong wheels i feel like you are giving too much slack, that is not ok and is missleading. overall model looks great, so it is a shame that so many things are shady about it.
@M0torsagmannen yeah that's definitely the biggest issue, by far. I don't care if it doesn't have a roof or chromed parts - they just need to advertise it properly. Honestly, they just need to build the model themselves, take their own photos and post those to their website and call it a day

@legocpa definitely! Such a talented designer. And hey, more competition is always a good thing for the consumer!
I wish LEGO would hire moc designers for sets. Too many sets are too simple and basic, I wish LEGO was as fragile as my Mocs lol
@@moose_builds hahahaha 🤣 I wish they would hire more moc designers too!! There are so many talented designers out there
amazing tooned huracan
@@supremeclips-r2n The designer did an amazing job!!

@brickeezy Yes the designer did an incredible job!! It is such a mixed bag set - some really great points and some not so great points 🤷
Yet another great in depth video!
@Scotts_Blocks Thanks Scotty!!
It's kind of cool finding out all of these cool LEGO MOC builders.
@@Sketchy_Doodles totally!! There is so much talent in the community. It blows my mind
Unfortunately building a 1:8 car MOC with legos is ridiculously expensive.

Looks like it's almost a Sian alt, but a really high quality design overall! Do you know why the parts had to be cut?

It be more funny of it was the Hurrican 'Technic'a.
@MTHEDGEHOG LOL that would be perfect 😂
Two F40 today $34.00 Australian bucks each
@bigbannana4949 that ain't bad! They're $35 in Canada
its a good design but that price for offbrand lego is a no
@ArtiCars1 Fair enough!! The design is amazing, and this set is certainly not for everyone!
