  • Do you want to THINK in English? Are you looking for English conversation training? Would you like to have conversations in English without translating in your head? I hope so! In this lesson I’ll share a powerful training tool that will help you think in English. It’s a simple and fun tool for training your brain to think in English so that you can participate more fully in the conversations around you. It can also help you enter conversations more confidently and increase your English vocabulary. At first this training approach might make you feel uncomfortable…that’s OK! Joining any conversation can be intimidating…even a training! I’ll help you gain confidence as we go and you’ll start to feel more comfortable with the new vocabulary you’re learning and the new mode of thinking in English as you’re in conversations with others. As you practice forcing yourself to think in English using this technique you’ll hopefully find conversations less intimidating. That’s my ultimate goal in creating this for you! I want you to grow your vocabulary and feel more and more comfortable in your everyday conversations in English. As you take this technique and continue to work with it my hope is that you will notice, almost without thinking about it, that you’re truly thinking in English more and more often. When that happens it’s so exciting!

Well, I answered almost every answer questions properly. It wasn't really hard for me because I'm already immediate. By far I know approximately 2500 words, but I really need to speak more. But all comes with patient, don't be frustrated when you see no progress. It's completely normal. Be patient and all of a sudden you will understand more and more and someday you will understand everything crystal clear.

Good afternoon, dear Rachel. First of all, let me offer my congratulations on the didactic way you approach your lessons - mainly toward the natural sound of a typical average American speaker - most of all, by contextualizing words, phrases, and sentences in general. Among the things you do, I really appreciate your speech, I mean, you never slow down the speed to simply balance it all out. While listening to your explanations, I close my eyes to fully focus on the very native sound of the American English. Oddly enough, it definitely brushes up on my listening skills and meets my needs and expectation pretty satisfactorily. Thank you a bunch. By the way, I’ve been attending your lessons for quite a long time.

In my case is little difficult to have or maintain an English conversation, I studied during two years in an academy and really help me a lot but is not the same when I try to speak English in a "real world". I was once awful at thinking in English but after a year I spent in Australia, I lost the ability to speak in my own language without constantly translating from English. And most of the time, I feel like I’m better at expressing myself in English than in my own language.

    It's great lesson!
I realized that these questions baffle me, because I don’t know at all what I like to do, where to work and so on even using my native language..

Hello Rachel! It's wonderful to see you! Thanks a lot for the lesson and the opportunity for the training of conversation skills! At present, I can think in English, but so slowly. In any case, I was able to answer most of your questions. And thank you again for the links to the question generators too!

I find this really interesting! It'll be helpful for me. I think this is the best way of learning a language because it's not boring like being sitting down in a chair at any institution. In my opinion the only way of being good in any languague you're interested in is by speaking it no matter whether you make mistakes or not because that's they way babies acquire languages and they don't study.
