@@travislike8767 that’s a great question! In our design, we don’t remake the locking mechanism. Instead we just add repeaters every so often to extend the signal. 100 blocks is fairly long, but that should still be a sufficient solution. Lmk if that helps!
@@IntegralZero That worked like a charm!! Second part... the workers keep losing their jobs and not taking the one right in front of their face when I'm trying to perfect the trades I am going for... thoughts on how to prevent this?
@@travislike8767 Yeah, they can get pretty annoying about that. Easiest temporary fix is to make sure there's no way they can pathfind to another workstation. You can usually achieve this by putting solid blocks on either side of the village, coming out at least 1 block from the workstation - basically encasing him in a box the best you can.
Really looking forward to building this in my long term singleplayer world!! I haven't worked with more complicated redstone or trading halls in ages and you and Megatronic made an almost completely me-proof build (which is saying something). Awesome job and thank you both for your work and time.

Great work! I'm looking for a nice trading hall but there are only these simple ones on youtube. This is exactly what im looking for. Does it still work in 1.21.3?
I'm just wondering, how many villagers had to lose their lives before that first mud block was placed on the return run? Thankfully, the survivors can now rest assured of a lifetime of claustrophobic servitude, and repeated zombifications. Cudos to the dungeon designer. Just one question though; how often do the villagers raise prices, just so they can get a ride out of their hidey hole, despite being brain munched again by a zombie.
ok so my main issues right now are the zombie, sometimes the zombie will attack and sometimes it won't also I couldn't get my zombie to hold anything no idea if those problems are related
Interesting… Make sure you’re playing on Hard difficulty for best results. In Normal difficulty, the chances of a zombie spawning with the ability to pick up items is much lower. On Hard, it ranges from about 7% up to 55%, depending on regional/local difficulty. While on Normal, it can be as low as 0%. As for the zombie not attacking the villagers consistently, first make sure he’s as far forward as he can be without clipping into the block in front of him (check the pinned comment for a solution to the clipping issue), and make sure that you’re out of his line of sight. If he can see you and you’re within 35 blocks, he’ll prefer to attack you and will ignore the villagers. Hope that helps!
why is the zombie conversion chamber not working for me the villager is not activating the string to keep him in the get hit just goes in and out without activating it? Does anyone have a solution has something changed?
Just empty all hoppers, droppers, dispensers, chests and the brewingstand and follow the instructions in the video from 21:05 up to 23:00. Something went wrong when importing the world itself.
For some reason the automatic potion brewer isnt working and the bottles of water isn't going into the potion station and if they do the hopper below it grabs it before it can brew
Just empty all hoppers, droppers, dispensers, chests and the brewingstand and follow the instructions in the video from 21:05 up to 23:00. Something went wrong when importing the world itself.
just found this and i am very interested. I'm in the world download and the villagers don't pick up the work station in front of them that well. Is that just a weird quirck in the world? like if I build it in survival and put them in one at a time will they keep their stations? i built another design recently and villagers loss their stations very easily so I'm a little scared from that lol
When using the auto potion brewer, the water bottle filler doesnt seem to be working, as in each time a potion brews, only one water bottle is created, and it isnt puit into the hopper
I think ive found the issue but im not sure, it seems like the dispenser is dispensing the water bottle inside of the top block placed at 21:01, and is not going in the water. not exactly sure how to fix
After fiddling around a lot, the problem is that when a water bottle is removed from the hopper that contains water bottles, it sends a pulse to the dispenser to send out a water bottle, but the water bottle doesn't fall into the hopper - it floats to the top north east corner of the water source & gets stuck.
I built the exact same thing in a test world and it works perfectly, and tested the same configuration in other parts of my world to no avail. I even checked if the subchunk position was causing it to mess up, but it still worked in the same subchunk position. So I have absolutely no idea why this isnt working
I'm wondering if it has something to do with it being a locked hopper, which doesn't let it pick up items, except "While a locked hopper does not push or pull/collect items, it may still receive items from dispensers, droppers and other hoppers", and it is recieving the item from a dispenser, while not directly
Great video and Tutorial! Do you know if there is an issue with the autobrewer within the world download? The system seems to not work automatically; the system detects when the hopper runs out of splash potions, but it doesn't trigger the brewing of new ones.
Just empty all hoppers, droppers, dispensers, chests and the brewingstand and follow the instructions in the video from 21:05 up to 23:00. Something went wrong when importing the world itself.
@@dezzdrone9561 I've had this happen as well, but also twice when I built it on my own server (I've got 2 halls setup next to each other), both potion brewers were working, and then after idk, 10-20 potions, it would stop working... :/
So I built the whole thing and it’s running well, however Whenever I return the villagers to their place, the top sticky piston won’t activate to push them unless I move the powered rail any suggestions?
Can’t figure out why the connector rail to zombifier with glass above is leaking water, washing away rail, and kelp won’t grow on soul sand. I’m on switch in Java.
There should be no issues with building 2 of these side by side, right? I have just enough room to make a 1 block gap/wall in between them. I've got a 29x43 area I would like to build this in ^_^ Been searching too many days for a proper Trading hall, so thanks for all your work! Though a little sad I haven't been able to find one close to this quality, with space for the villagers to have a bed (and be able to use them), and a little bookshelf with candles on top 😬😅 But I guess I can't have everything :p for now
I'm building this in bedrock edition for console and the honey block keep pushing the rail in the zombiefication chamber so i can't transport the villager back. How can i avoid this?
It’s hard to say why that’s happening without seeing exactly what you have. The auto brewer is very particular about how it’s built, loaded, primed, and used. Double check that all the blocks and redstone are in the right place. If you need to, unload all the ingredients/bottles, then reload it again exactly as shown in the tutorial.
Just empty all hoppers, droppers, dispensers, chests and the brewingstand and follow the instructions in the video from 21:05 up to 23:00. Something went wrong when importing the world itself.
it takes forever for the villegers to cycle, once I destroy a work station they wont get a new job for aaaaages. cycling for the right book is taking so long did I do something wrong?
Rule #1 for working with Minecraft villagers: Avoid working with villagers at all costs. Unfortunately, you kinda need villagers for a villager trading hall… With that said, it doesn’t sound like you did anything wrong if they are *eventually* taking the job. Sometimes they take it as soon as you place the workstation, and sometimes they give you time to go for a walk around the neighborhood first. The only really consistent roadblock (that you probably already know) is that they won’t take a new job if it’s night. Other than that, one thing that can help is to make sure he can’t see any other available workstation by building sort of a box around him. If he has his eyes set on another workstation that he can’t reach, he won’t take on any job until the other workstation is removed, made so he can’t see it, or until he changes his mind. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the science behind how they choose a workstation or how long they’ll wait before giving up on one they can’t reach… Anyway, I hope this helps at least a little. If I find the exact numbers, I’ll let you know.
I had the same problem, i replaced the trapdoors for carpet and it kinda solved it, but still I locked the trade before introducing the villagers in the trading hall, it's faster in any way
@@civercras the trapdoors shouldn’t be getting in the way, but they are necessary to keep the villagers from landing on top of the workstation when they come back from the zombie. Agreed though that locking trades before loading can be faster depending on your setup.
Absolutely nice guide for building! Got one problem though: The Brewing Stand wont work for weakness pots? They just produce lots and lots of Mundane Splash potions. Is there a workaround for it to make those weakness pots?
Unfortunately, there are quite a few mechanics this relies on that don’t work in Bedrock. If you check out Mega’s channel, he has a Bedrock version of his original design.
Really cool designe! Why do you use two rails though? The lower ones seems to be entirely redundant. I mean yea you save like 10 seconds of the ones going back around on the slots where the rails slope points the wrong way, but does that really matter when you gota wait from them convert anyways? especially considerering how annoying it is to place those rails.
How exactly can I modify this design? I don't want two straight lines of villagers, but rather a square. Is it possible to achieve that with this design?
Can you somehow make a arrow of weakness the first curing step? For me they're easier to get.. or would you just remove the whole potion brewing and shoot him yourself?
my zombies are just killing the villagers when they are sent to get zombified how do i fix this. recreated in singleplayer to see if it was the server that i was in that wouldnt let the event happened but it did the same thing in single player mode. How do i fix help? Also do the zombies have to have swords in there hand for this to work. tried getting zombies to pick up items in my single player mode but they just dont want to pick up anything.
Others have had this issue too. Villagers randomly select a workstation within their line of sight, so you might need to enclose them with a few blocks on either side and in front of them. So that the one directly in front of them is the only one they can see.

Does anyone have a solution has something changed?
brilliant
Brewing is not waorkinh water bottles from hopper are not going in what can I do???
Just empty all hoppers, droppers, dispensers, chests and the brewingstand and follow the instructions in the video from 21:05 up to 23:00. Something went wrong when importing the world itself.
how to extent slot of vilegers
GOT IT WORKING IGNORE EVERYTHING I SAID
Great video and Tutorial! Do you know if there is an issue with the autobrewer within the world download? The system seems to not work automatically; the system detects when the hopper runs out of splash potions, but it doesn't trigger the brewing of new ones.

I've got a 29x43 area I would like to build this in ^_^
Been searching too many days for a proper Trading hall, so thanks for all your work!
22:59 it makes potions for me but it doesnt auto fill brew with new water bottles...

I have a question. Villagers need beds to get a profession, how can I fit those in?
i have a problem with the villagers not “seen” the lectern fast
it takes forever for the villegers to cycle, once I destroy a work station they wont get a new job for aaaaages. cycling for the right book is taking so long did I do something wrong?
Unfortunately, I don’t remember the science behind how they choose a workstation or how long they’ll wait before giving up on one they can’t reach…
Anyway, I hope this helps at least a little.
Nevermind it was just me beeing dumb and dont using fermented spider eyes. So just thanks again for that beautiful showcase!
only question I have is: where would I connect my village breeder?
This is an amazing trade hall great work! Think this could be made on bedrock too?
It’s doable but there’s a large issue with placing the powered rails down
Unfortunately, there are quite a few mechanics this relies on that don’t work in Bedrock.
How do i fix the bug where it activates the powdered rail holding the zombie for 1 tick eventually ending u the farm not working?
Do tje villagers have to be infected one at a time or can 2 villagers go st the same time form the 2 sides
is there any way to not use a trap door on top of the lectors?
it's amazing and awesome, unfortunately i'm sure ps5 with bedrock version, is it working on this version?
Sadly it does not work in bedrock edition :(
can somebody help me with the brewing part, the part where the bottles get dispensed, cuz it doesnt get dispensted in my world
How exactly can I modify this design? I don't want two straight lines of villagers, but rather a square. Is it possible to achieve that with this design?
Commenting if anyone searches for it:
This works in 1.21.3, so feel free to build it since it is so good
I built it today and the detector rails don't seem to detect the minecart passing over them. Did you have this issue?
@markgernyi7771 i did not, are it the rails above the villager chambers? Or the ones at the zombie?
so i guess i should probably get around to building myself a gold farm and a slime farm huh
Might as well add a witch farm to the list for the extra redstone 🤷🏼♂️
@@IntegralZero Or a raid farm. Just finished all 3 actually.
@@drewdeaton8117 Perfect!! Yeah, a raid farm is definitely a good complement for a trading hall...
great video!
i have a question tho: is it necessary for the zombie to have a sword?
it is not necessary, however it speeds up the converting of the villager.
I have a problem with the villagers not falling trough the mud and getting stuck in it, anyone know why and how to solve it?
Can you somehow make a arrow of weakness the first curing step? For me they're easier to get.. or would you just remove the whole potion brewing and shoot him yourself?
Hi I'm testing the zombification area and my zombie keeps killing my villagers any idea why he keeps doing that?
Your game needs to be set to 'Hard' mode for 100% chance of conversion. Normal Mode is 50% , and Easy is 0% .... failure means the villager dies.
WHY ARENT THE HONEY BLOCKS PISTONS RETRACTING ??
my zombies are just killing the villagers when they are sent to get zombified how do i fix this. recreated in singleplayer to see if it was the server that i was in that wouldnt let the event happened but it did the same thing in single player mode. How do i fix help? Also do the zombies have to have swords in there hand for this to work. tried getting zombies to pick up items in my single player mode but they just dont want to pick up anything.
make sure you are playing on hard difficulty, otherwise theres a 50% chance they will die on normal difficulty and 100% chance on easy
@@sqeery4297 bro thank you, I was wondering what did I get wrong, you made my day, again THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
most of my villagers wont get the workstation I put in front of them. Anyone know how to fix?
Others have had this issue too. Villagers randomly select a workstation within their line of sight, so you might need to enclose them with a few blocks on either side and in front of them. So that the one directly in front of them is the only one they can see.
Amazing trading hall! Just got done building it. Is there a way to prevent accidental note presses (sending the villager back to the zombie) ?
Maybe try placing a trap door or something that you can open incase accedental clicks
