      turtleneck needs to focus less on trying to make his voice deep and worry more about his enunciation. at some points he sounds like he's doing a really bad Markiplier impression. When he laughs and speaks with a smile, you can hear the actual voice. which is much nicer.

    Oda is probably the hardest working mangaka of all time. The man used to destroy himself for one piece, and even if his schedule is much more reasonable now he is still very overworked for someone at his age. **Aside**: There's a LOT of Oda's life I had to cut out in order to make this video palatable. Well actually in all of the videos I had to cut out a bit but for Oda there was a LOT. Everything from how he had this weird prophetic fate moment when talking to a shopkeeper in his hometown to him donating over 500k yen to his hometown after it got hit by an earthquake, to him being friends with Kishimoto and having inspired the person who wrote MHA , how he hated Gosho Aoyama and Detective Conan and how one of his friends got arrested for.... unpalatable things.

    2 Things that made a bad impression about the video for me;
    The first one is, the ending was really bad. I was expecting to reach today but we stopped at 2009, got a conversation and the video just finished_ I was confused and I am still confused. I expected a better end to a well researched and edited video like this. The video was going really well except the second problem but if the ending is bad it ruins the whole thing.
    The second one is, the lack of the feeling of accomplishment. The first parts were perfect and I mean PERFECT. But when Oda serialized One Piece, I expected a high point there. It would have been awesome if there was a celebration there. And the video could have finished there with the celebration. It seems like you wanted the video to have a hopeless mood all the way through but I think having a celebration at the end would have completed the story of the video because of Oda winning against all the hardships on his way.
    I don't think the video is bad, it is a well documented informational video but these 2 flaws just made the overall video worse than it could have been.

    I want to make a suggestion and possibly add captions pls? Like Mama Max’s vids. It’s ok if not but sometimes when u talk and overlay with another voice when recreating oda’s words, it gets really confusing since it’s hard to distinguish the words ur saying and the other voice because it mixes a lot. Also I don’t mind the music choices they’re really good but if u add anime scenes as memes pls lower the sound effects from the anime like that one scene in 4:33 where the sound effects from the anime were too loud
    Sorry if I sound too mean but I genuinely enjoyed ur video and I want to watch more of it because I never stayed this long for an essay video especially since I’m not even an English native speaker to understand most essay type videos, but urs make it so understandable if that makes sense. I love how u recreate Oda and his editor’s arguments because it made me understand and empathise more. This format has a lot of potential, and I really enjoyed this vid, but I do have a couple criticisms:
    - This should be longer. The 10 minute mark is nice and all, but for subjects like this, I think more depth is better than a shorter run time
    - there was huge jump there from when the manga was made to the ending, which just talks about the movie. As I said, this could have been a lot more comprehensive of a retrospective. It just feels like a huge chunk of time is cut out.
    - the audio overlaps need to be fixed, and the music was bit loud at points, to where I couldn’t hear the audio
    - it went by a bit too fast. I wish some stuff lingered on screen longer so I could read it all, but it would often go to fast for me to see the bonus information. I get that the idea is that people will pause it to read it while not interrupting the flow, but I still think it could be slowed down a little bit
    And again, thanks for such a great video.

    Pretty good video, but didn't like the voice overs that much. I mean I prefer subs over dubs any day just to hear the authentic voices. Would've been awesome if you had added at least one clip of Oda's interview with his own voice. Voice overs are cool, but giving voice overs to every single dialogue sucks. Hope you improve more with your next video.

    Most people here: "How motivating"
    Me: "How depressing"
    (I mean for real though I don't mind people seeing it as motivation as long as it doesn't become some weird western delusion of "if you just try hard enough" or "if you just put in the work" because reality is that you hear about this story because it ended well yet if he had died you wouldn't have heard about it. "Never give up" might feel cool and motivational but in reality that's a bad a philosophy that would cause massive amounts of suicide, now I am not saying you should give up easily but I am saying you shouldn't kill yourself because you are enslaved to this "dream" but couldn't reach it, there has to be room for accepting your own failure, I can guarantee you there were other people who worked just as hard as Oda did but couldn't reach it, in the end circumstances and luck have a far bigger influence then effort.)
