5 stars for this mua, the salon was clean just like her brushes, she was so friendly and I think it's incredibly nice that her son filmed it. The result is beautiful too.
I like this MUA. She seemed to have a gentle touch and she really took her time to make sure that everything was blended nicely. I also agree with others that she had clean brushes and her shop looked clean as well. Her son also did a great job with the filming and it was so nice of him to offer to do that for you.

I love that this mua not only let you film, but got someone to hold the camera for you so you could easily capture everything but also let you relax for the process of having your make up done! We need more mua´s like this!!

Definitely go back to her for an extended appointment, if you can. I'd love to see what she could do when she isn't under such a time pressure. I'm assuming she'd take care of some of the harsh lines and do some more blending.
I love the look, very cute. 30 mins doesn't give enough time to do a makeup look like that. The shop owner was the rude one calling the mua on the phone to reprimand her in front of a client. The mua did a beautiful job even under pressure.
Honestly she seemed like a very sweet lady. Both her and her son. Love the eye makeup, the colors she chose go so well with each other. You should perhaps try going again but this time with more time. She’d probably do better if not rushed by some rude owner & the other girls haha. Great video as usual, keep ‘em coming love 💕

The salon looked lovely too and looked clean.. i actually felt for her when she took the call from the shop owner, she was so apologetic bless her. Over all a lovely experience 💛 Edit, and in all fairness she applies the makeup ensuring her son could get good footage of her application which was also very nice of her.. you can also see it was a very relaxing experience by how relaxed Julia’s face is throughout 💛
She definitely shouldn't book her last appointment so close to their closing time if she can't finish before then. 5 minutes late or not, that appointment wouldn't have been finished before closing time.

She showed up (only) 5 minutes late. If she had showed up in time, the same issue wouldn’t have gone away, especially since a full face of makeup can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2hrs or more depending on the look. The MUA should know by now how long she spends on a look to determine whether she’d have enough time to do the service and clean up before closing. If the appointment doesn’t meet the time limit, the MUA should’ve asked to reschedule or just not take the appointment.
It looks so good! She did great. Her color correction and tone match is outstanding. I’m really glad to see someone who doesn’t work at a big store do such great work. Loved it!
The make-up is impeccable! I would give her 10 out of 10 rating for the makeup. I would return to her, but have an earlier appointment. Maybe be 5 minutes early next time. I think she was stressed because the salon was closed and her son was not doing what she asked

Absolutely, I’ve only seen a few of her videos but don’t think I really like her attitude. It’s almost as though she’s gaslighting half these artists that do ok! Obviously not the rude, rushed and unhygienic ones.

She did a great job evening out your skin tone. It’s looks so even and seems like it was powdered well. Except for the harsh bronze line I think it looks nice. The place was clean and organized looking and she seemed time. The lip color is hard to see. Overall pretty good. But hey you being 5 mins late doesn’t make her run half hr late. But in the service industry you don’t schedule an apt 5 mins after you close your shop.
I don't know why they blamed the MUA for the other person missing their appt, it's not yours nor the MUA's fault for that, why not give her a key? The owner had time to call, just to blame the MUA for taking too long for someone else to close. They could have easily given her a key and said "hey I have an appt can you close up today! Thanks." But no they were mean to her instead...5mins late is nothing, I am hair stylist we give clients up to 15mins if they don't show/call they miss their spot in the chair.

WTF is with over half of you commenting?!! Mediocre at best!! This MUA done a terrible job!! Y'all must not watch professionals enough to know when someone has done a horrible job. Those eye colors were not complimentary to one another, the 'transition' shade was patchy, the contour was blended on one side but a harsh line on the other, her lips looked like an animal pissed on them! Julia does not have the skin tone to pull off yellow lips. A professional makeup artist would know that along with color theory. The foundation was too dark. Where was the hygiene?!!! She used the eyeliner straight out the tube, she would 'try' to be hygienic by using that nasty black pad but then put her fingers all over her face, what was the point in even using the pad then?! She sprinkled powder in the palm of her hand to apply it to her face. She blew on the brush for god sakes!! And rule #1 NEVER TALK ABOUT THE CLIENT IN FRONT OF THEM!!! That's a good way to not get a repeat customer! That "MUA" shouldn't have booked an appointment 30 mins before closing, even if Julia was on time there's no way a decent job would've been performed in 30 mins! Quit cutting these "MUAs" a break just bc they're sweet, you're paying for a service they provide, of course they're going to be sweet, they want that money! And a tip! Some of y'all have really low standards and it shows!!!

The shop owners was rude. It’s not the MUA responsibility to know anyone else’s schedule. That’s the owner and her responsibility to provide the coverage needed. The makeup was quite nice really. Very sweet and so was her son.

La propriétaire aurait pu être plus gentille avec elle étant donné que sa cliente entendait tout... 🙄 Elle a pris son temps et à réalisé un joli maquillage. Et le salon avait l'air clean. 16:30 to 17:20 this was pure ASMR for me! It gave me goosebumps and all the tralala! If all MUA would work like this, i would go get my make up done just for the live ASMR seance and if the make up would look good, it would be the bonus, lol!
I think if she had applied the orange/brown shade it would have looked amazing but all the brushes were clean, her part was clean so that’s great, but bad customer service blaming you for her being late. She is the MUA and should sort her own appointments and must know full well that a good face of make up doesn’t happen in 30 minutes. Good on her though and I love the slight flirting lol
She could have softened up the contour lines...she did pretty good but I would have never thought of yellow lips in a million years..I guess people forget about setting the under eye, baking, using blush and highliter..it just always pulls a look together
Sometimes makeup isn't the primary focus of a review. I'd leave one star for talking about clients right in front of them, talking on the phone during an appointment (I'm paying for your time, and you're giving your time to someone on the phone), and for having your son in the room in an intimate setting (to me makeup isn't something I'd do with my stylist's son right there complaining about walking downstairs). Professionalism matters more than the makeup.
It may not be your intention but you really do the best ASMR videos ❤️… although it was rushed at the end I think you should visit her again for another video but make a long appointment, I reckon with time she would a good job ☺️ again LOVE your vids ❤️

Everything was so clean and tidy. Your makeup does look cute but I think there's a bit too much red/pink on the lids but the lashes save it they're gorgeous. She was so thorough doing your makeup it's just a shame she felt the need to rush at the end and then when the owner called she panicked which spoiled your experience

Her technique (apart from stripe of contour and blowing in brush) was actually quite good. But more importantly that cafe looks beautiful

I would say a 4 out of 5. It’s cute overall, I just don’t really like the yellow lip liner/gloss.

16:30 to 17:20 this was pure ASMR for me! It gave me goosebumps and all the tralala! If all MUA would work like this, i would go get my make up done just for the live ASMR seance and if the make up would look good, it would be the bonus, lol!

I think if she had applied the orange/brown shade it would have looked amazing but all the brushes were clean, her part was clean so that’s great, but bad customer service blaming you for her being late. She is the MUA and should sort her own appointments and must know full well that a good face of make up doesn’t happen in 30 minutes. Good on her though and I love the slight flirting lol
She could have softened up the contour lines...she did pretty good but I would have never thought of yellow lips in a million years..I guess people forget about setting the under eye, baking, using blush and highliter..it just always pulls a look together

Sometimes makeup isn't the primary focus of a review. I'd leave one star for talking about clients right in front of them, talking on the phone during an appointment (I'm paying for your time, and you're giving your time to someone on the phone), and for having your son in the room in an intimate setting (to me makeup isn't something I'd do with my stylist's son right there complaining about walking downstairs). Professionalism matters more than the makeup.

It may not be your intention but you really do the best ASMR videos ❤️… although it was rushed at the end I think you should visit her again for another video but make a long appointment, I reckon with time she would a good job ☺️ again LOVE your vids ❤️

Everything was so clean and tidy. Your makeup does look cute but I think there's a bit too much red/pink on the lids but the lashes save it they're gorgeous. She was so thorough doing your makeup it's just a shame she felt the need to rush at the end and then when the owner called she panicked which spoiled your experience
