Hello, thank you for sharing the circuit diagram. I have three questions: 1. Can you explain why the emitter for each IGBT is grounded together (instead of separately) with the V_EE (pin 5) of each respective optocoupler? In other words, should the low voltage be grounded separately from the high voltage? 2. The circuit diagram shows Arduino GND, Arduino_GND, GND, and GND1. Can you explain what GND1 is, as well as what the difference is between "Arduino GND" and "Arduino_GND"? 3. I thought that each optocoupler needs its own separate power supply. Is this the case for your circuit, or is there just one power supply for the six optocouplers? And, if only one, why?
I'm trying to program a vfd for a three phase agatator. I want to set it up to go forward for 5min reverse for 5 min then repeat untell I say stop. Can this be done with just the vfd or do I need a plc..
I like very much your work here i would be most apprecieative if you could share this project as I would like to use it with student electricians thanks
It's just for demonstration purposes. I am using 35v dc to drive the motor. The motor is connected as Star connection, with 415v max rating. You could also use the motor in the DELTA connection with 230v max rating
@@kashpatel898 it manged to go perfectly still very precise, one last question is how you managed to deal with the "dead time" did you manipulate the code to get the dead time or added a dead band circuit?
Bravo, grande progetto. Utilissimo per gli studenti che vogliono apprendere i concetti essenziali.Dovresti mettere a disposizione i file gerber per la replica e diffusione del pcb.Bravo davvero.fammi sapere se puoi inviarli
The circuit board has 50v smoothing capacitors, this limits the motor voltage to 50v. The motor voltage controls the RPM of the motor, with more energy. I am changing the speed by changing the Frequency of the output sine waves. This is done by changing the Delay of the PWM waveform. 😊

The output voltage is 45v peak to peak on the sine wave output to the motor. This is a demonstration board, used to show the principle of a 3 phase motor inverter. I supply the board with 18v to power the opto isolator chips and 45v Dc to drive the motor. The board creates the 3 phase sine waves to drive the motor, the sine waves are 120 degrees out of phase.

Arduino mega board supply power range is 7V to 12V. So you supply 15V in arduino board. Can supply the 15V?
I tried with CT6AM-18F BUT DIDN'T WORK WELL sine wave created by circuit it not capable to run mortor
quick question is the hcpl3120 really able to turn off the igbt since we mostly need negative voltage at its gate to turn it off
Sir give an idea

Hi Kash Patel. You shared drawings as a favor. But mega sametime don't let to see plans.
Hi, what about the voltage feedback as operating this from battery bank will encouter sagging.
Nice work...any clue for encoder setup for this
What did you do to reverse the motor while it was running very fast ?
Hello there sir @kash patel...there was any not declared and error in the code how do i fix this...sorry im newbie on trhee phase controller
