Glad to have you back. I enjoyed today's vid. I'm looking forward to your review on the Lamy pens, as you had promised. I'm holding off buying one until I see your report. I'm happy that you now have a US link to Amazon, since I seem to buy almost everything that you review.
Oh hey Lynne, good to read your comment! I started thinking you might have stopped watching my videos because of the music... :)) Thanks for reminding me, I am keeping a list now of all the videos that I have promised to film. Will definitely try and do it either early next week, or if I have a minute then over the weekend. :) Thanks for your support, I greatly appreciate it :)
I ordered the midori cotton notebook and cover when you first did this video I'm back for the platinum converter and ink. Hoping to find the Tomoe River paper you recommended...edit: Oh, I'm grabbing a set of those brown pilots too! Love seeing all the fun stuff!
I love my Midori notebook. It will crinkle a bit with watercolor but I don't care. I am getting toward the end and need to order another. Just curious, how long did it take you to develop your signature style? Love the fashion illustration. Love the dress too!
The girls faces just happened one day, they literally came from nowhere, I had a vision and this weird need of filling up sketchbook after sketchbook with this style of a face illustration. More on that in the upcoming Q&A. :)
I’ve been thinking about getting this book but I want white paper or more white then cream. Can you do a video comparing the color with the Tomoe River paper and a few others please.
I will try. But for now I can tell you after having had another close look, MD is definitely whiter than Tomoe Cream. But not as white as Tomoe White, I'd say it's right in the middle of the two. Hope this helps :)
Hi Alyona, I'm always happy to see you post a new video! Love your techniques and style. I guess it's partly because I feel like it's the style that most appeals to me, what enjoy too! I can't place your accent lol ... where are you from? I'm Donna, from Ontario Canada.
*you have an awesome style for your drawings...*
*I love it..*
I seriously enjoy your videos.. they are awesome..
I just bought this book and cover

This is a fantastic tutorial! Thanks for taking the time to share the steps so clearly.

Alyona's Watercolour Creations
This is very helpful because the other Midori MD book is pretty much cream and I was hoping this new one wasn’t.
