- I fished this river during the opener, which was the last Saturday in April (go check out that video named "The Day After Fishmas" if you haven't already) and the fish would eat anything that drifted by. Fast forward 5 weeks, and they got super picky. When that one fish rose after my bobber floated by and another came up to look at my bobber, I knew what time it was. It's so fun watching them rise at your fly. I missed a lot but it's probably because I don't do a ton of dry fly fishing. If you have any dry fly tips for me, let me know in the comments.
I hope you all enjoyed this video. See ya next time. Take it easy 🤙🏽
Great country, nice water and great fishing trip and a few beauties landed in the net too, enjoyed the trip, thanks, thumbs up and greetings,, Tony.
As always, nice video dude!
Oh, man... you gotta go back with carp gear.
Another great video! Thanks for posting. Your videos have inspired me to explore the eastern sierras more this past spring and summer. I’m looking forward to the fall bight.
@@WhereFishLive I have a feeling this fall is going to be really good over there. With the new business, I'll be lucky if I can make it out that way.
Thank you for watching and for the comment. 🙏🏾
Great video! I love dry fly fishing. I usually don’t get fish that big on dries when I do it though 😅
Have you done any fishing as late? It seems you did a ton of it during the spring.
Thank you! Thank you! It's so much fun haha. Can't wait to do it again. I haven't fished much this year. Only a hand full of times. I'm hoping to get out soon. As the weather gets cooler, fish start to get active, and you don't have to worry about water temps being too high.
How about you? Getting out much?
@@FreeFormFlyFisher Yeah I’ve gotten out a lot more times than last year. I just went to Yosemite and got some dry fly action. I’ve also been doing some steelhead fishing on the American near my house. It’s really easy and the fish are big.
@@thecalfisher I’m heading to Yosemite in two days! Any flies and stretch of water you recommend?
@@brandonsor9949 Tuwalumne meadows is my favorite. Dry flies for browns and brookies in the meadow, then rainbows in the river near the tuwalumne meadows lodge.
