I tried this product and initially had the same issue as you did where the product skipped areas. I found that using a moisturizer and a primer before applying the makeup remedied that.
Possibly a reaction to a moisturizer or primer. I’ve seen this as a comparison to other high end products such as Fenty with a similar performance at a significant $ savings.
I clearly only was able to find the wrong shade, if you order on Amazon (linked in description) it’s a long ship time, but it’s at least available right now
