The glitter is by recollections from Micheals. The color is Glitz. I always apply the glitter to one side, with UV resin, then I flip it over, and apply the decal to the other side, and seal with UV Resin.
designbundles.net/graphichousedesign/295751-friends-will-be-connected-by-heart-friendship-quot#gtmList=30>mPos=4 I actually got this as a whole design from this website, so I'm not sure what font was used.
Hi Christy, I have a few suggestions, first try a new blade, if you have changed it more recently you can try cutting on a slightly deeper setting, then third, patience with tweezers and your thumbnail! I have a thing for really complicated cuts, my tweezers and I are really good friends :)
Hi Jana, using on the balcony is great for ventilation, but the sun's ray will start to set it really fast, try using it in a shady spot - or under an umbrella, anything to cover it until you are ready for it to start setting. I use it inside next to a shady open window, and use the lamp to set it.
I, with my infinite mom brain - resined the wrong side I remember correctly... resin should some with a warning - "don't resin half asleep in the middle of the night"
Thank you :) It depends. I often just mix it in with the resin in a little disposable cup. It’s wayyyy less messy. Unless I’m doing the tack-it method (to lay all the glitter flat) I premix it with the resin.
Hello, thanks for the video. Can you tell me please where you get your keychains and jump rings? I can't seem to find any that aren't flimsy and break easily.
I had to look way back! I got them from amazon, and they are really good jump rings - these are the ones I got: www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07B7PXYGV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@carakinsley it helps of you're in a warm environment or if you run a lighter over it which will pop bubbles, and allow it to warm up a bit and settle smoother. If that not possible, wait and allow it to settle before curing.
Sometimes if it's being stubborn, I put them in a bright window. The sunlight always works if they are not curing all the way under the lamp! I have a window I often let them sit a few days even when they don't feel sticky.
Hi quick question pls. I bought yhis exact same resin that came with the uv light. Once dried there are these white spota all over in the resin. I did try the lighter to get rid of bubbles etc. Not sure if I even did that right too coz there was a smell 🤦♀️ how do I fix this pls or avoid. Thanks
@@tklcollier2381 I'm not 100% sure to be honest - I haven't had that happen, you can try keeping it somewhere warmer in the house, cold can cause bubbles. Be really careful moving it around the acrylic, some people find using a gloved finger works better to prevent bubbles, or even try a torch, something strong than a lighter to try and really pop them.
hi patty - these are alcohol inks, I got them at Micheals here in Canada, but the US website lists the same ones, they are Tim Holtz brand www.michaels.com/tim-holtz-alcohol-ink-set-mariner/10407285.html wow and they are $6 cheaper for you!! thanks for watching!
I live in Canada - so I use a Canadian Company for my blanks : roshkoinnovations.ca/ the alcohol inks and vinyl are from Michaels and the resin is from Etsy - www.etsy.com/ca/listing/786196565/transparent-clear-uv-resin-hard-type?ref=yr_purchases (she's Canadian) - I know it's available on Amazon, and a few other places Thanks for watching!

Where did you purchase your image for or did you use Cricut?
I bought from a site called design bundles.net they have tons of designs and near of the end of every month you have huge bundles for $1!
Amazing!! Definitely going to try this. My question is that when I go to cut my letters like that. I lose some.. too small

Hello. I have tried uv resin but it dries very quickly. I used it while on a balcony .. Give me some tips please. Thanks

Ohhhh what did you do with the little one???

Can i use acrylic paint and then uv resin?
Yes. The resin will seal in the acrylic.
Hi. These are amazing. How do you mix glitter with the resin- or do you just sprinkle over?

Love it what size is you larger circle acrylic. ? 3”?
yes it's a 3 inch blank
Is that a stamper your using for the alcholic ink
It’s a felt stamper. Just from michaels. In the alcohol ink section.
@@AnDIYcraft thank you
My resin always comes out bumpy even though i feel i am spreading it equally. Any tips on how to accomplish a smoother finish would be appreciated.

Can I use watercolour to color the resin keychain?
I'm not sure, depending on the ingredients, but water can effect how it cures

I only use the uv resin on its own to seal the vinyl writing on acrylic (keychain) so its clear
