Yes, it is Tommy singing. It is his tribute to Sabaton when he left them. He released a new cover today that really shows his fun side also. You recommend you do a reaction to that one ( Working 9 to 5)
Tommy Will be missed in sabaton but he has a great solo career now and will look forwardvfor you beautiful ladies in Tommy's future reactions on your awesome channel . Much love Wintersun Alex ❄️❤️❤️❤️
A great tribute to say “thank you for all these years together”. And yes, it’s all TommyJ singing. Suggestion, Sara perche ti amo, TommyJ singing in Italian🇮🇹
Tommy is def singing this whole song, plus the background vocals.....and he is 6'5".......big gorgeous dude !!.....and btw, Chris and Hannes are way tall too.....Par and Joakim, not so much.....but i love all 5 guys !!!
This song originally written by the band Argent back in the early 70's, The Christian band Petra covered it and changed some of the lyrics to make it a more "Christian" style song, but it's been covered a few times by the time Kiss covered it. But Kiss' version is really good and it's sadly Eric Carrs' last music video and song he recorded, which he did the backing vocals on it. For the video he was actually dying from cancer when the video was made, wore a wig and makeup to look healthier. One of my all time favorite drummers, he sure is missed.
Heavy Sigh. This song is not a cover of Kiss. "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll to You" was originally written and composed by Russ Ballard for his band, ARGENT. The band released it first on their 1973 album. At the time of its release, I Was 18, and super cool, beyond belief. Ok, at least I thought so. Lol! So of course I think that theirs is the best version (and btw, not a cover.) I didn't dislike Kiss. To me they were a kids band. One of the original Glam bands that wasn't particularly very Glam. I prefer my artists not to try to dress up like animals.
There is no "they". It's Tommy doing it all. The footage in the video is from his years in Sabaton. But the singing and playing this song is all him. The editing too. 😊
KISS does this a lot better !! I think I would fall over dead if Donna said anything other than she " Likes it " ? There is nothing wrong about saying you don't care for the Band or the Song ! Just once in a while ! But I get that she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But Lulu is the only one on here, that I have heard say she didn't care for a Song or Band. I have never met anyone who Likes everything all the time ? Just something to think about ? Love your guys show ! Keep them coming !
The KISS version is much better, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley bounce back and forth between each other. Even drummer Eric Carr who had a heart tumor (passed away in 1991) appears on the song, doesn't play drums on track, but sings "to everyone he gave this song to be sung." This song also appears on Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and is actually billed as "God Gave Rock and Roll to You II." This version along with the KISS version has modified lyrics.
This is his way to say goodbye and celebrate saying thank you to Sabaton his brothers for ever❤❤
And yes Tommy sings ❤
I love how Lulu always mentions how she likes his hair...I'm right there with you! Hope he never cuts it! ❤

Always a great song. Kiss cover is fantastic too. Love the original as well. High school memories yet again. So says the 65 year old rocker!!!!!
Tommy just dropped 9 to 5 cover. Its soooo good. 😀
Great song written by Russ Ballard '71. Kiss version is super as well ! Tommy has one helluva vocal range as an FYI.

Eric Carr is the reason why I am a drummer, such an incredible talent. Lost way too soon to a great human being.

I 100% agree with you. You can say that title of the song to anyone, and most people will recognize the KISS version first before the other bands.

They do a great job at the cover, but I still prefer the KISS version of this song.
