Love her comment at the end about high density urban areas - finding ways to create beautiful home spaces within high rises and letting go of the idea that we all need a standalone house to have a “home.” Super important for taking urban sprawl and keeping housing prices affordable!
Sure her comment is idealistic but a house is way better than a condo. Condos are small and the board will implement a lot of rules. They’re also not significantly cheaper than a house. A house with a basement also provides income property opportunity. Whereas condos have expensive maintenance fees and potential “special assessments” that keep getting more and more expensive
I wish they credited the design firm/designer of this beautiful unit.

I love a lot of the things in here - it'd be cool to see a budget breakdown and maybe a floor plan. I love custom cabinetry but it just seems financially out of my reach!
It definitely looks extremely expensive. The owners probably want $1.5 mil for this.

I didn't see "the vertical LED strips", but the built-in was very nice.

quite an amazing condo and design; but let's be real, this isn't what 75% of ppl can afford, or 95% of non-existing home owners, so it's just a different kind of dream than "freehold white picket fence." let's not be delusional about the sad state of Canadian RE

The thing with built ins, is that you might like the looks of it and the space you used it in, but not everyone does. If I'd have the budget I would do built ins aswell. But then I think "well what if I wanna sell the place and people don't like the fact that there's a built in in a certain space coz they wanna be able to choose what they put there? Then they would either have to break down expensive built ins or just opt out of buying the place 😕" 🤷🏼♀️
