- Smart storage solutions abound in this renovated North Toronto kitchen by designer Roseann Greco. She conceals ugly bulkheads and pipes with clever cabinets tricked out with appliance garages and a slim pantry. Swapping out a peninsula for an island and a dining table for a wet bar turns the space into entertaining central.

The black metal inlay and other black accents really elevate the design. Really nicely done. I'm not a fan of irregular rugs but I think in this case it works because it complements the overall color scheme rather than clashes with it and softens the transition to the area.

The details are very pretty. Congrats. The colouring is very muted and I presume this is the homeowner’s choice. I think it needs abit more texture or something to pull of these muted colours. From a functional perspective, having raised a family and now in my 4th house, I do not think that any family of four eats dinner in a line formation. Perhaps breakfast but likely it’s in individual activity with folks grabbing a quick bite and running out the door. We could not even share a pizza sitting in a line formation. I see this trend and I suspect it pertains to space limitations. Gotta get more creative.

I think it’s stunning and timeless and something I have seen countless of times. For a second I thought I had already watched this video because the kitchen is so similar in design to the kitchens in previous episodes.
I would love to see more variety on this channel - colour, patterns, different creative visions, maybe different approaches informed by other cultures not just what is trending in the west. Surely we have that diversity in talent in the GTA?

I've watched this half a dozen times- what an elegant space! Tones and metals mixed to perfection. The soothing lower cabinet color is mentioned - but what is the nicely paired white on the uppers and walls?

What an amazingly beautiful redesign. It's just beyond lovely. Bright, open, airy, modern, comfortable, cozy - everything you can want in a space. I love the white tones with the black trim and overlay features. And adding the touch of brass really brought everything together. A lot of people are afraid of monochromatic design, but not only is it timeless, it is so versatile. Artwork, textiles and decor can be customized depending on the season, mood and desired aesthetic. I am absolutely in love with this home.

Mounting the TV above the fireplace is far less ergonomic than where is was placed before. If a client absolutely insists on integrating a tv into a room with a fireplace, a mantle mount should be installed.

Happy you love it. The bar millwork paint colour is Benjamin Moore Black 2132-10 which complements the black stone counter best. For the floating shelves above the bar, I used Decotec Sand Lyon Ash H1298 ST22 ❣

When is this open concept floor plan going to go away,looks like a furniture store, no privacy hate it.
Awful transformation. The old kitchen had welcome warmth. This new one is sterile, bleached out and dated already.
