I love Olivia's smart and beautiful designs. They always revolve around entertaining friends, and the practical side of family life. Keep the videos coming! I am always looking forward to the next!🙂
Olivia always gives me practical ideas to use later. My condo in Chicago has central air and heat but I’m thinking about moving to NYC where those things are only for the rich. That air conditioning trick is SUPERB! What a genius idea, Olivia!
Olivia does such beautiful work! That is the classiest, most gorgeous banquet space I have ever seen! Of course the rest of the design is also fantastic.
Very thought out layout especially with the bar and aircon over the fridge because the top of the fridge to me is useless space. Im going to use that idea for my kitchen reno.. Love this designer.
Olivia and Emilia are two of my favorite designer.. even some time they have to give up their design ideas just to keep the owners ideas… like hanging tv on top of the fireplace.!!
What?! We were told by our airconditioning company that hiding a unit like that is not a good idea at all, since the unit will need space for the air flow that goes in a circular pattern. Also, it would be impossible to service the airco when it's tucked away like that, according to the company 😳
@@annjohnson8437 hahahahah That’s what I’m wondering. Just spoke to the architect also though, and he keeps reminding me that I can’t compare Caribbean weather with the US 🤷♀️
@@TheJinnieL Okay yeah, that makes sense :) It's just that I also wonder how to service the unit. I know that when they do it now, a bucket needs to be placed underneath the unit so they can really rinse it. That happens every 6 months. That can't be done when the unit is tucked away like this. oh well... 😋
I'm saying it here. The next trend will be having an upholstered sitting area in the kitchen, particularly in open concept spaces. How many dining tables do you need? We just moved into a townhouse and put our kitchen table into storage. Placed a chair, little table and footstool in the space to feel it out. We love it. So cozy to have someone sit while another one cooks.
IT is beautiful. If there was any chance at all of a price range for how much this cost, it would really help some of us figure out what our future Renos could cost.
I just completed a living space renovation. Our home is 1800 square feet. We had all new engineered hardwood, mid range pre fab cabinets, quartz countertops that go up the backsplash to ceiling around the range, one wall removed to enlarge kitchen, a support beam, a pretty hefty electrical and plumbing bill. Our total was $150,000. This does not include new sinks, new lighting, water heater, all new appliances, cabinet hardware and other needed decretive items. We did all the painting, new molding, and any smaller things we could save on. We did not hire a designer. I spent a year on RUclips watching and learning from House and Home videos to all Shea McGee content. Many other designers also. My home is beautiful. Thanks to the above content creators. The price was more than expected. But we are glad we did the remodel. Hope that helps you get a range for pricing. We are in the Pacific Northwest part of the US. I needed help with pricing too. Good luck.
@@cindyhoneyman8259 thank you so much this is so so helpful! It sounds like you redid the whole main floor and that is what I’m planning for as well so this price range 150-200k is helpful to know. I was thinking of doing the same, doing some of the work ourselves so we could save on some things cuz things are so pricey now. Thank you again I really appreciate it!
@@cindyhoneyman8259 thanks so much for this! I know I’ll experience sticker shock if I ever do a reno (it’s inevitable) but it’ll be less so if I know how expensive things can become going in 😊
@@30arminda Just finished a walk in shower addition where a side porch used to be with roof. Three walls were constructed , 2x6 studs, better insulation rating. My husband helped with tile outside of shower stall and painting. Zelliege in shower stall 8X8 feet. Entire room 15x14. $24k.
1:29 "It is Pavillion Grey by Feral Ball." That's how the subtitles spell feral ball (or whatever you're saying). I'd love to know if that's correct, so I can look them up!
I love this…but you need to integrate that ugly fridge sitting in the middle of everything being a focal point. What a shame. The dining area is to die for. Love love love
Another gorgeous project by this talented designer. It feels like real people actually live there, it’s warm and beautiful.
What a lovely compliment!

Your work is gorgeous. Very thoughtful and your attention to detail is inspirational. I love watching you projects.
Greatly appreciate it, thank you!
Beautiful home. Great use of space, it’s functional, open and it looks amazing
Appreciate your kind words :)
I love everything Ms. Botrie does...her designs are personal (to the owners) and impeccable.
Thanks so much!

Olivia's love of a banquette makes me love mine even more. Looks fantastic!
I LOVE this designer, what a BEAUTIFUL redesign!
A couple of really unique features, air condtioner hide, brilliant and, must mention the gorgous raw and rustic slab (?) table. Wonderful job!
Beautifully done!
Gorgeous transformation! I absolutely love it!
Thank you so much

Beautiful designer you inspired me to do my house renovation almost similar to the one you did! Thank you for the videos ❤

Wenn it is on you can just leave in open

Lovely make over. Finally see someone who can talk faster than me.😂
Superb video that captures the spirit of the age - 👏!❤
I want a sofa in my kitchen! I'm in here practically the entire day. 😭

Great space !
Beautifully designed!! I would love to hire her for my next home 😢
I love it 🧡
What are the cabinet colors? Love this so much!
They are Farrow & Ball Pavillion Grey
Is that ac or mini-split? Looks like the latter. Love the layout, swivel chairs by window. Island appears to be HUGE!!!
It is a very large island!
I wouldn’t say it’s beautiful, but it seems extremely functional.
What is the name of the flooring. Beautiful! vinyl?
wow the AC idea
What was that color of the kitchen cabinet she was talking about? Ferring ball??
May I know the stain color under island countertop?

@@louise4827 Oh, you're a treasure! Thanks so much! Silly subtitles - I just knew that had to be wrong, lol
