- In This video we are going to be shooting the Ruger Mark 2 With a 10 inch barrel Shooting Several different Types of ammo and doing a Accuracy test to see how the different Types of ammo performs in this little 22 Ruger Mark 2 Stainless steel target pistol.

I have been looking for a Mk II Ruger with an 8 inch barrel because a friend of mine gave me a Artillery model Luger holster with out the border stock and all the rest of the leather parts I already have A MKII with a 4 inch barrel that I got used from a gun dealer at a gun show 13 years ago with a Luger holster it fits with a little bit of oil rag in it to keep it from rattling around but it's good
A little more from me does anyone know a gunsmith who works on Ruger's like the mkII

Hey Al, I own a Mark 2 Target with a 5 1/2 bull barrel I purchased back in the late 1980''s. Just like yours, it is a tack driver. Your Mark 2 must have a pretty decent trigger like mine does?

Holy smokes... I've not seen a 10" MKII in years! My uncle had one back when I was so little I could barely hold it up. That was near 40 years ago.
I wish I knew what ever happened to that gun. I'd sure love to have it, if for nothing else, the memories of killing beer cans with it.

I have two Mark II 10 inch. One stainless my dad bought brand new in 1988, and a blued from 1995. My favorite guns to shoot!! Absolute tack drivers!!
Just picked one up today ss 5.5 barrel they go for a small fortune
in California (off roster gun)

I just found one at the local gun shop 1986 blue 10in looks like it's almost brand new for $350 I had one in the 80s I foolishly sold it I like your stainless steel version very accurate guns I recall

I guess I’m old-school I like the mark 2 i Have always found them to be accurate and reliable little pistols not taking Nothing Away from the mark 4 also another gray pistol👍👍👍👍👍

Need to fire the 10" through a chronograph, like to see how fast the Thundas & SV go in a barrel like that. + you should try and shoot them twigs sticking out on the trees and see if you can hit them also with your 10/22. That's what I do with mine, (10/22) real challenging target especially when their far.

@@TheWalkWithAl CCI has a new Clean ammo, hypervelocity. Think it's 1500+ fps. Keep an eye out for them, I am. Like to try for the upcoming spring.

Pretty good shooting but with that barrel you are 5 inches closer than regular model. A man is rich if he has as many hats as he has firearms. Lol. Hope that bad weather misses you. Expecting up to 5 inches of snow in NE Tn tonight. 78 degrees yesterday. Pellet pistol time indoors Monday. 😃

Walked in to my local shop for some ammo & turns out they had a stainless mk2 target for years brand new never used $700… Impulse buy😅 hard to find here in California

I hope this comment finds you well, I just wanted to stop in the common section and say I enjoyed your video. I honestly wasn’t aware that they offered Mark 2 and Mark 4s with a 10 inch barrel. Looks like I better put some $ aside.
I found one with a 10 inch but I think it's too long for my holster
