Always fun to watch how you approach strangers in the street and interact with them. What suprises me is that you almost always shoot when the sun is low, but you put the sun behind your subjects instead of in the light. Still, their faces and bodies are perfectly lit. This is probably done in postproduction, brightening up the RAW-files. What I find surprising is this: how can the in-camera shots that you show them be so good already? Their faces must be rather dark there, otherwise the background would be too bright. Can you explain how you do this please?
Yes, I usually brighten them up in post! In this episode I didn't show the before and after, only the post. But it's usually just adjusting the exposure in camera so the sky isn't blown out and there face isn't to dark, a lot of the time there's light bouncing off the other buildings which helps too. I love your approach to street photography. One technical question: when you shoot agains the sunlight, do you apply negative exposure compensation to avoid the sky burnout ?

What would you recommend for portrait photography between r8, R6 (mark 1) and R? All 3 are the same price
I'm actually super impressed with the R8 atm, I haven't tried the R6 but they're all great cameras. The higher megapixel count is good with the R if you need to crop in or print large pictures but the R8 has the newer tech so things like tracking and AF are next level.

Я так же выбирал между этими камерами, и выбрал R, если именно для фото!
R8 хороший выбор для видео. Для фотографии может быть мало разрешения, нет защитной шторки матрицы( при смене объективов может попадать пыль на матрицу), при жаркой погоде камера иногда уходит в перегрев при серийной съемке. Более слабая батарея.
R6 (1) тоже со своими нюансами. Сильно обрезан функционал . Уже стоит тогда немного подкопить и взять R6 (2) !
В камере R одни плюсы( для фото)- большая батарея, большое разрешение, полноценные 2 шторки, защитный механизм матрицы, более крепкий корпус, защита от атмосферных осадков. Из минус в R - это микро лаг видоискателя , что будет помехой для спортивной съемки. Если Вам не надо снимать спорт- Canon R будет отличным вариантом для фото.
Если хотите снимать и фото и видео, выбирайте R8 и купите сразу пару запасных батареек. )

Also, what camera do you prefer more, Canon EOS R or R8? I thought to buy Canon EOS R at first, but then i saw it's been discontinued and i went for an R8.
I want the higher megapixel count for certain jobs so there are a few reasons I would stick with the R until I upgrade, BUT I've only used to R8 a few times and today I saw how insane it is so you deff made a good decision. The tracking is also super fast.
Atm I'm trying out different lenses with it and I'm seeing it's power

Go with the r8. It has better image quality , Better focusing & sharpness than the R.
@@phill5917 i wound't say that R8 has sharper photos than R because of 30MP, but if you talking in terms of video, so yeah
