THESE MOMMA DUCKS MUST INSTINCTIVELY KNOW WHAT TO DO, BUT IT SEEMS SO PRECARIOUS AND TIME CONSUMING TO KEEP GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THE DUCKS NESTING AREA BY HAVING TO CROSS A BUSY ROAD. PERHAPS SOME NICE MAN-MADE NESTING PLACES COULD BE BUILT NEAR OR ON THE SHORE THAT WOULD INCLUDE HIGH REEDS TO HIDE AND PROTECT THESE FAMILIES.
