- • Mallard Duck and Duckl... (see this video for first attempt to leave nest). At 8:45 am Thursday, mom mallard attempts to get 12 ducklings across busy state HWY 16 to Lac LaBelle in Wisconsin. Ducklings stuck at curb finally follow human guidance to sloped walkway to be reunited with mom and then are greeted by dad mallard swooping in just as they are about to enter the water.
Ducks are always a little bit confused in human place. They need our help.Thank you for guiding them!
A big thank you to the ladies & little girl for making sure the ducks got to safety. Greetings from Ireland.
I agree, thank you to the women that looked after those baby ducklings until they were safe.
👏👏👏👏🙌🌹
Also thanks to duckling Initiative to walk his siblings to the slope.
the little girl had no choice in the matter, her so called unthinking mother dragged her there
🇺🇲❤️🇺🇲❤️
Nice to see something to smile about for a change.
Love how dad flew in as the mom & ducklings neared the water. He had been close by watching over them. Made me smile.
Drakes, who knows their intentions?
Made me smile the whole Video long😃😀😊😁☺️
He was at the bar……

The op and Marge, Dana and Tom need to watch the "bedtime" activities of mallards and drakes. It's quite enlightening (and rated R as in drape.......... gang drape....... it's not a pretty sight, folks.)
Society impinged on their space. Thank you for being there to get them safely back to theirs.
Hello Pretty Cindy…….❤️😊
You two ladies are truly beautiful people. It is such a truly beautiful thing to see you helping God‘s old creatures.
God Bless You Both
They are not "god's" creatures
@@raknoknak . Maybe you aren’t one of God’s creature because you don’t know what you are talking about or maybe you just don’t like animals that is why you make such a statement.
Safe at last, so happy to see all the ducklings are safely united with their mama duck
Thank you so very much! At a point in time when I needed some help in believing in human’s ability to be humane - you wonderful ladies came along and gave me a blessed reprieve. Thank you, and God bless! You deserve to live in that beautiful place - wish we could help more move from inner cities into a peace like that
As for you Mama Duck - Daddy Duck too - you two also were a blessing And joy to watch, as well as a beautiful lesson in parenting for animal & human alike
💜💚🦆🦆💚💜
Nothing like watching little duckies following mom like a troop of soldiers and mom quacking the commands, and babies chirping in response. So adorable 🥰
Adorable
❤️❤️🌺💙💙💙
Thank you for walking with the ducks! ❤️🐈⬛🐈🤗
We need all the gifts of nature we can can support and save. Thank you, dear lady-mom!! 🦆🦆
Hello Pretty Anne……..❤️😊
What an absolutely beautiful sight to see. Amazing footage. Thank you to the lady holding the young child who accompanied the video creator. A special thank you to the video creator who provided us with this experience.
Mother teaching her child a lesson in love of all creatures big and small.
Good job people 👏
Achei a mamae pato muito ruim p seus filhos, devia ajuda- los a subir para atravessar a rua , era obrigacao dela pois eles eram muito pequenos , de SP Brasil
Whoever is filming this why didn’t they put down the camera and help
@@annswaydis7245
Because..cannot interfere with wild animals..cannot touch a mother ducks chicks..or birds. unless orphaned
The Mother could reject them..
and rob chick's of learning lessons they need to survive in the wild..they have a lot to learn..Mother is teaching chick's st all times
The mo there calls them ..they know her call and she her chicks..it is amazing..even in The penguins in huge colonies of them..the Mother KNOWS HEF CHICK'S CALL AND THE CHICK HERS..GOD DID THIS
He watches over all His CREATION..TAKES ARE OF THEM FEED'S THEM. GLORY TO GOD !! Amen
Even placed the Mother and child there to help and gave her child a teachable moment on compassion prsises ..GOD IS DO GOOD 👏
You folks were great!!!! The Momma duck kept saying...come children, and they tried as hard as they could to get up the dang curb, and then the young lady with the baby was able to easily coax them to slope!!! You are real heros to go the extra mile!!
Job well done, that just made my day. That lady should be given a metal. That was Awesome helping mama duck and her baby’s,across a busy street. God Blessed that wonderful Lady.👍🏾🥰🤗
Those duckling were way smarter than their mother. I have never seen a Duck leave their chicks behind. never in my life. I rescued 8 that fell into a sewer and mom never left for a single moment, She stayed and begged me for help. So stinking cute.
Mallards, ducklings, hazards, if anything happens to mom their chances unless help comes from human beings, not easy for mom mallards drakes don't help. Creator God.
Glad th e duckling the ducklings were reunited with their mama
@@veras.8020 She wagged her tail feathers then came right up to me in trust after the last one was reunited.

You've never seen...how old are you, where have you been..I don't think you've lived long enough to have seen anything, so keep your comments to yourself.
Got me a bit stressed there! Something to feel happy about before going to bed. 🥰
YES! There are always good people, helping animals! Excellent! ( from the netherlands!)
Well done Ladies!

It’d make my day, year, decade if I ever witness something like this. The ones that couldn’t make it almost seemed to be saying “okay lady, you’re our new mommy”. Just adorable.
Yes! It was a it one of them said "Well, mom said in rough times as a lst straw turn to humans: Well troop, I think it is rough times"
Literally glued to my screen, hoping they make it. This 10 minutes of ducks has more drama that most 2 hour movies!
Thank you sweet lady with her baby making sure the mom makes it safely with her babies.
That was so stressful at one point. I teared up. 🤦🏼♀️ This world can be harsh and scarey, yet so wonderful too. This video is a snapshot of life for all of us. I'm so grateful they all made it safely and together in the end. Thank you for helping them 🙏❤️
Was that the Daddy Duck?! Holy Crow! That was beautiful! 🦆😗
Hello Pretty Lydia…….❤️😊
You're so nice for helping them, thank you so much. 💗
So damn cute. I was rooting for them all the way.
Thank you for helping them!
Thank you for help ducks be safe! Of course, only ducks mom carrying about children, and dad relaxing in the water.
Hello Pretty Katarzyna……❤️😊
This reminds me of a book I read as a young child, "Make Way for Ducklings."
It was the first book I was able to read on my own, which made me very happy and proud of myself.
As an adult, I became an elementary school teacher, and when I found this book in my school's library's discard box at the end of one year, I snatched it up as a treasured piece of nostalgia. 🙂
This video also reminds me of a PBS special called "A Duckumentary," especially the scene with the wood duck babies.
Wood ducks make their nests in the hollows of trees near the pond/lake that is their home. When the ducklings are ready to leave the nest, their mother will go to the pond/lake and call to them. The ducklings will jump out of the tree and fall to the ground, their baby wings extended. The ducklings are so light, they almost float down. They're not harmed by the fall because they land in the old leaves at the base of the tree. They then follow the sound of their mother's quacking until the whole family is reunited and can go about their duck business.
🦆
Thank you for posting this delightful, wonderful video!
❤
This was such a learning experience for me. Thank you for sharing
There are other vids, walking through stores, a school, and humans who like to watch & assist. We all get to learn, so it's great that this was yours.
Humor; yes, ducks like the water. Or wasn't that todays lesson? LOL
Mallards are lovable, as opposed to Canadian geese who can turn a nice field into an unusable dung heap with big turds. They are bigger too (and they eat human children so be careful.)
A big thanks to whoever filmed and shared this video and to the lady who guided the ducklings. She showed her child how to be compassionate towards animals. Great mom! 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Wow, that was tense.....watching the remaining babies to catch up with mama and other siblings. Whoa!
I love all of you, very kind humans and very cute animals.
Well done young lady, and nice to see your child witness something wonderful at his young age. Really uplifting video.
Such a great out come it only takes a bit of help. Thanks ladies 👍🌻❤️
Sweetest LOVE story I have ever witnessed. At the end also when apparently the father of the ducklings was waiting for the families return.. It was certainly tearing at my heartstrings. Thank you ladies so my much for the loving care you gave the ducklings to assure their safety. Wonderful acts of kindness.
Hi from Australia, you ladies and little one are so kind hearted making sure that Mamma Duck and her babies were safely reunited with Dad and safely on the water. 💕 Such a large brood too. I love the way they followed you to an easier place to reach the sidewalk. Well done. You definitely did your good deed for the day🦆🦆😁🇦🇺
The Lady and her child, were Angels today. thank you both..
A very beautiful and awesome lady who tried to get these cute ducklings to be with their Mom. She is a lovely human being for all her help to reunite the family. God bless her always and a huge THANK YOU for being the hero in this story, a true Angel watching for these ducklings . A lovely story with a happy ending! Can’t get any better than that. Thank you for guide safe. Intense times 🦆
So cute!!
God Bless you for guiding them
Ducks understand that humans are here on earth for the sole purpose of serving as unpaid babysitters, storm drain rescuers, and crosswalk guards for ducks.
Human kind create the hazards,. ooh Creator God.

👏👏👏mom and babies made it to the water thanks to the girls and little girl that guided them to safety! God bless the three of you! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow. Beautiful little town. Of course, we're all rooting for the Mallard Family at every harrowing turn..... They made it! Below, something more about duckling survival.... "Despite its importance in population dynamics, duckling survival is one of the most poorly understood components of the waterfowl life cycle. It takes 50-70 days for ducklings to attain flight status, and survival during this period is highly variable, ranging from less than 10 percent to as high as 70 percent. The most common causes of duckling mortality include predation, adverse weather conditions, starvation, disease, and parasites. Ducklings are excellent fare for nearly every type of predator, including fish (largemouth bass and northern pike), amphibians (bullfrogs), reptiles (snakes and snapping turtles), and mammals (foxes, raccoons, mink, and feral cats). Likewise, other birds such as hawks, owls, gulls, herons, and crows will make a meal of ducklings."
Unbelievable - I never knew until now how dangerous it is for ducklings. Thank God for this lady guiding the precious babies to their Mom and some safety. Thank you.
You’re an angel helping the ducklings reach the water. I was on the edge of my seat. Thank goodness for your help.
