At University as part of my computer science course l did a subject called User Interface Design. The first question the lecturer asked was "Who is the person you ask about the design of your product?" followed by "Who is the person who knows most about how a product should be designed?" Most students replied the designer. "No," said the lecturer, "It's not the designer, it is the user. The designer is simply the person who creates in accordance with the needs of the user. When you do a field test you are seeking to find out the needs of the user through feedback and you design in accordance with this." You do not do a field test with the designers because you are not designing for their needs, but for those of the user. The aim of good user interface design is to "delight your user". A lot of student programmers who were good at programming thought the subject was a load of rubbish. They believed they knew what was best to go into their creation. Unfortunately for them, by having missed the point of the subject they could never become truly great designers.
hey, is there anything you can do about cancelling the environmental noise? i just bought this 2 days ago, but my callers complain that when im on the street, the microphone picks up the noises quite loudly. in one occasion the feedback noise was so loud that even i heard it
@@nandorfarkas6885 nah man for that you need something with qualcomm chipset and cvc noise cancellation. Like the edifier tws5 or the new ankers that are 99 dollars. These are bad. You should buy the ankers
So i have tested them against the Lypertek Tevi after watching your other video. If i had to recommend any of both, i would definetely choose the JBL! They have much more deep sound without cutting the mids and hights. Bass is also not disturbing the mids. BUT, did you have tested the Zolo Liberty+ ? I know, they aren't in stock anymore - who knows why - but that are still my reference in very good sound within all my tested wireless earbuds.
@Technickr, My Zolo stop charging or something. I put them in the case and the lights appear, then I close it. Later I connect them but they die real soon. I love their sound, but they piss me off.
Damn these seem like they would've been perfect had they been able to adjust volume. I'm with you tho, I cant understand this micro USB crap. There has to be a reason for everyone not using USB C . 🤔
1. iPhone. Until they make one with Type C, people will still have to carry multiple cables anyway and they don't mind it. It's mainly new Android users that complain about it. 2. Cost. It is cheaper to implement USB 2.0 with a modified Type C connector on one end (I don't mind this as I still use Type C to Type A), but this is not a good solution long-term as Samsung and Google both use PD chargers. Soldering resistors to the connector is enough to make it compatible but it probably won't charge as fast as a true Type C interface. Many people would also like to use a Type C to C cable to charge their devices right off their laptops. Only Earfun Free and Sabbat E12 support this but I don't really recommend either.
@@FrankyboyLegend lol USB C supports way quicker charging times, it is more convenient for everyone to use USB C as their phones and laptops support it, furthermore only apple users have that issue because they are sheep minded and dont mind using the shitty lightning cable. The majority dont care for them and if you haven't noticed already most apple users have been dying for them to switch to USB C so your point is invalid. Apple users use airpods anyway which charge via the lightning cable that's why they ain't that bothered about it
@@AZHFifaHd I was mainly referring to the budget market. Manufacturers either take shortcuts or can't afford to make individual modifications to components they purchased in bulk. For many TWS out there, USB C charging is still rated at 1A/5V and seem to use a USB 2.0 interface. Unless you use an adapter or resistors are soldered to the Type C connector they will only charge with Type C to A cables. It's useless if you have a Pixel or Note 10 since they come with PD charger. Even a bigger brand like RHA has this problem, although Sony, Sabbat and Earfun work fine with PD chargers.
Based on the video review. The battery indicator of the case is in a bad spot. When you plug it in to charge the indicators will be covered by the cable. Those indicators should be on top of the usb port.
Bought these recently. Can't go wrong with them. I skate a ton and they don't fall out or get loose in the ear. The seal is great and the fit is perfect. As for the buttons, they not that hard to press at all, I prefer them to touch sensitive buttons - pure reason that if you feel for them you don't find yourself pausing or skipping as with touch sensitive earbuds. One negative: Straight out of unboxing the one rubber wing tore as I stretched it over the bud - flimsy and very thin regardless of how cautious you are. Also miner ear fatigue after about a hours use. That being said I hardly find myself using them for that long a session. Conclusion: I have had tons of earphones fail to meet my personal requirements and after good research and reviews like the attached I finally found a pair that suit me best.
@Gamsky, Regarding your question as to why some companies choose regular micro usb vs usb C: it's a question of cost and sacrifice. From a manufacturing standpoint, it may be cheaper to do regular micro usb charging vs usb C. some companies have to choose whether or not they want 11 mm drivers, or usb c. If sound is the most important thing to them, then they will sacrifice USB C charging for sound. Personally I could do either. the most important features to me would be the ability to control everything from the buds, including volume, sound quality, and battery life.

Here, in Switzerland, I bought these on JBL's website for CHF 81.95 last week ($82). They're back up to the regular price again now... but it's worth keeping an eye on JBL's websites for prices, particularly when Black Friday arrives. My Reflect Flows arrived this morning, and frankly, they confuse the hell out of me. Getting them to connect to my phone took about 20 minutes following the instructions (and I've still no idea what I did to make them work). Good sound though.

I've just bought this yesterday and thanks for the nice review, so that we can understand it better. 👌
You can use once of two hands free??
Hlias Xaralampous you cant use one at a time one being in your ear and one in the charging case
brother please let me know if the other party can hear you clearly in a noisy environment? is the microphone good?
Usb as opposed to type C....It came out this year doesn't necessarily means it was designed this year...So may be designed earlier and pushed out this year
Lol USB c was finalised in 2014 and introduced in 2016-2017 so unless they have been working on these for 2+ years then I highly doubt it, also even if they were it would be much better to just switch it as most companies would have been adopting the USB C ports
Thanks for this review. You're the only person to do one on this model!
I think they have buttons because when water came on the ear buds the touch would trigger all the time.
Please... You should compare them with Jabra Vista, due they have similar features. Conform, call quality and sound comparison would be nice
Still waiting on the Vistas to come in
Gamesky if you make direct comparison would be great... thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Do these get muffled like the Jabra elite 65t active?
Aukey T10 or JBL Reflect Flow? Which has better sound quality, with strong bass?
How do these compare to AU-Stream AUC? Getting ready to make a purchase and doing some research. I drive large trucks and I’m tired of the big trucker style headsets. Thank you!
I know you said it uses micro usb but does it support wireless charging?
Went through 3 pair - all 3 stopped charging within weeks. Perhaps I am one unlucky dude but after doing some digging this seems to be fairly common. I loved them - super comfortable and sounded great but charging was a HUGE issue
Why is the price range different from one another if the model is same ?
I just bought these today but I heard from one review that if either bud is placed in the case the music/video will continue. It doesn't work for me. It only works on the right bud. So if i put the right bud in the case and keeping the left bud in the ear, the Bluetooth completely disconnects. Keeping the right bud in ear but left bud in case works fine.
I tried with several phones and still the same. Can you shed some light
Jaybird Vista or The JBLs, which pair would you prefer? So you can only talk on the phone with the Right side earbud only?
They have a physical buton because they are made to support water on it, and a sensitive touch buton doesnt work if the surface is wet :/
Good point....I would still rather have touch response instead of waterproof. But I can see where others might need waterproof
@@OfficialGamesky yes of course, I agree with you on that! Based on your video of the Skullcandy Indy I bought them (sensitive buton) and Im really satisfied with thay feel. The physical buton might be useful for sport guys, so they dont press the buton without wanting to do it
Facundo Reyes i just ordered JBL’s and one of the reason was the phisival button. I tried sensitive touch In other TWS and it was driving me Crazy. I use earphone for intensive training
They are really Nice the fit espacially.
Theyre really good just chunky af so tricky to put in and look a bit odd if you have a smaller head
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A CONTENT ABOUT EARBUDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eases my hunt for the best earbuds. searching for one that has battery bank, key finder, 8 hour play time c:
Does this sync with Google Fit?
If you could choose between JBL Reflect Flow or the UA / JBL True Wireless Flash?
chucking on an audiofile on top of the microphone "noisy area" test does not reflect how it would actually work in a real situation.
I agree! 🤣 This guy does good Reviews, but sometimes they are a little over the top
I'm torn between the Jabra Elite 75t (Active), Lypertech Tevi, Sabbat E12 Ultra, Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro & JBL Reflect Flow..... Help! Most important aspects for me are (!) 1) Sound quality - bass in particular but without overshadowing the mids & treble - as well as 2) fit & 3) battery life. (1: Really Important, 3: Nice but not neccessary) Suggestions? :/
Honestly, I want a button, because I hate grabbing my JBL headphones and hearing "the Google Assistant is not connected" as it cuts out my music.
I have trouble for jbl reflect right side is not working and not charging. Can you explain me. How to repair this.
They look like the under Armour by JBL without the Armour👍🏼
These are $30 brand new on eBay directly from the JBL store!
How do you get the volume up ?
I use my Samsung Galaxy 10 for everything and I've NEVER had a problem. I can barely hear these things with my volume maxed out.
Looks like I got a set of lemons and they're going back to the store.
Great video. Could you also look at the Jaybird vista's? They look promising.
Thanks, they are already headed my way
@@OfficialGamesky let us know whe you get them I considering to buy Jabra elite active, JBL Reflect Flow (for now they are number 1 :D ) and maybe Jaybird Vista (unfortunately cant buy them in Poland only throug amazon, but its not a problem :) )
Do they support multipoint bluetooth devices? Apart from Jabra 65t I haven’t found many true wireless ear buds available out there
Any recommendations similar to this but with touch controls.
I really love the battery life per charge on these!! (and they're not in amazon.ca
yet.)
under armour truly wireless flash (by jbl also) or the project rock edition if you like, you can order them on the official jbl and under armour site (project rock only on under armour site) and for amazon idk since amazon is not available in belgoum
You just really awesome. From Saudi Arabia sending all love , Thanks
Hello Gamesky! Can you able to use the left ear buds independently also? I wanna know if I can just use the left ear buds while let say the right ear buds was empty of battery. Thanks
I have a couple questions if someone can help. can you keep the earbuds in while charging the case? can you keep the earbuds in the case after they charge without damaging the headphones?
I cannot connect JBL reflect flow on my ps4, I bought a Bluetooth dongle, work with iPod but I cannot pair with the JBL... any idea ? Thanks for the video
The 'no volume control' turns me off. But the waterproofing part and the price is pushing me to get this.
How often are you actually adjusting your volume?
Would you buy / recommend these over the JBL Live 300 TW?
Can i ask the people who use these airbuds is it normal that just the right one works alone. The left one does not work alone ? Why is it like that i need help ..?
Hi man how are you i talk to you from turkey can you check the jbl reflect mini nc i have sabbat e12 ultra letme know is it better then sabbat and loud volume and better bass
