I'm very happy with my Mafex Robocop but I'd definitely buy this one because: 1. I love the character (not enough to deal with MK11) 2. I like this scale and it'd go well with the Predators from Hiya. They need to release a T-800 to complete the trifecta of 80's classics.
These things are amazing. The likeness captured, the proportions, the paint applications. Articulations are a bit gummy but that's ok. These things are a must-have in my opinion.
Lol... I watched this review and decided to include them in my collection. Went to ebay and found a deal for both... And I recognized that the seller was Anthony himself and now I get exactly the ones shown in this review. World is still a small place...
The Robocop design is awesome! Classic 80's. Love this scale, my favourite scale! Great for vehicles. Great detail, looks like there is a tiny bit of stylized sclupted but look great. Might pick this up and the Ed 209. Great review Anthony!
I do appreciate that you appreciate. I've been collecting this scale more and more lately, when really it was just the Star Wars vintage collection. But the Halo is tight, some marvel universe are cool, then there's joytoy, etc.
They do look a little short and chunky, you are right. Man are those cool!! I’m definitely picking them up. They did a stellar job on these guys! Solid Articulation for the scale and character. Great Video!
I think you’re exactly right, if you made the legs the tiniest bit longer the proportions would be perfect. Their 1/12th scale might be the closest match to the costume in that scale yet by the photos, I’m just hoping it has that small hint of a purple and blue cast the first costume has
Super into Robocop. Would have been nice to come with a gritting teeth or unmasked head. Also the cobra assult cannon would work too. The chinguard is a bit thin, and I feel like the legs are fine, the torso is a bit too long. Overall, I like it, in context that its a $20 figure. Now come out with his car.
I was thinking the same, and came to the same conclusion that Ant just offered... that had to be for the benefit of new viewers, cause anyone who's watched his videos wouldn't dream of questioning his integrity... they'd think he was too harsh before they'd ever think he was pandering 🤣
Sorry Anthony but Hiya got the proportions right over any other companies that made robocop.Just see all the movie image specially when he exits the car.100% agree that they nailed the color realistically.Sad that they dont have license to making 1/12 scale.
I really like Robocop, I think a good accessory for the figure could be the Rifle and the JetPack but with the pistol and the pick I'm fine, and with he articulations, is robocop, I just want to pose him with the gun pointing and the arm up like the movie, I just think is really cool.
i was just about thinking of buying this and never knew it was that small! really like how you rate things based on how it is like in reality the real robocop can't actually move that much and he doesn't even have his lower armor on when he rides his car haha. i like how you rate things and not rating it comparing it to much on other different figures but to how and what it is. thanks for the review!
Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it but how delicate are these? Are they more robust than their tiny size suggests or do you need to be super careful with them?
Man, I was looking forward to Ant opening up the thigh to reveal his pistol housing... that would've been the coup de grace... but prolly just wishful thinking at this scale... great vid, Ant!
Would have gotten me a pocket Robo, but the thing that bugs me too much is the panel on the front left thigh. It's too high! Looks like its mean to accept some accessory to peg in. Oh well...
@@ConradProteus gee... whod have thunk a $100 6" figure and a Hot Toys 1/6 scale fig would be "better". NECAS great for the price point as is this for veing a 3 3/4 scale fig. Smh... tantamount to "I really would like to get a Honda Accord" ... "A Ferrari is better"... dumb
Anthony see if you can get hiya to send you their new articulated godzilla figure!! It looks freakin awesome and is actually a little bigger than the monsterarts!
Its a nice figure to have no matter what its better then hasbro, Mettal and kenner . I was disappointed with the figma . How ever I enjoy all my robcops .
They send you this stuff because you do reviews. Just curious, do you have to send it back or do you get to keep it for free? Just something I've wondered for a long time.
I'm definitely surprised how much detail they packed into this small of a scale. I also have the Hot Toys Robocop to compare, although not even close to a fair comparison, Hiya included even the smallest details usually reserved for bigger scale figures.
@@AnthonysCustoms i feel honored you replied. I've been watching your videos for at least 2 years now and I admire your reviews and knowledge. I like it when you explain articulation and what makes a good figure. I wish you the best and keep up the great work!

There’s a certain charm for these

I used to mimic robocops walk as a kid. Now I have metal legs.
Murphy. It's you.
These look just as good as the Mafex Robocops. The legs on the Mafex Robocop are a bit short as well. I'm sold.. 👏👏👏👍👍
RoboCop was the 1st movie I saw that blew me away & made me love movies. I was waaaaaaaaay to young to see it though.

NECA, Figma, and now these guys. What's the deal with not including an unmasked head?
The rights to his face = $$$
I think this scale works better with lines full of vehicles and army builds. In other words, G.I. Joe.
Hiya should do the ghostbusters to fit inside the new Hasbro ecto

I love 1/18th scale because a ton of vehicles both diecast and plastic kits come in this scale.

Agreed bro too many shills around
very good looking lil robocops
I wonder if NECA would ever re-release their RoboCop figure since it's getting rare now.
Do they still have the license?
The Mafex Robos are better IMO.
@@jonathanchin3396 anyday. The NECA Robocop needs a fresh sculpt

Are ya Disappointed? Same old limited sculpt but with Wellers likeness

There's another version with the jet pack, but I agree, it would be better if it comes with the accessory.
This would be absolutely perfect for an “Indian in the cupboard” diorama 😉 might have to cop one now 🤔

Tempted to get him just to keep on the card. Very cool!
Cool figure😁, but i think it should come with two heads, one with a helmet and the other without helmet.
Is this better or worse than the Hagane Works version?
not familiar with that one
I bought one and never expected that good nice I love it

Definitely going to pick the battle damage one for sure.
hope they also make a repaint into Robocable with 2 auto 9's

MY MOM BUYED ME THIS WHEN i was a kid sorry for caps
Yeah looks like the legs are a tad short but they’ve packed a bunch of sculpt detail in this scale- and the paint deco is pretty impressive
Some limitations articulation wise but even though it's not for me it isn't a bad figure. Thanks for the review.
Was looking at this at Newbury Comics.. Looks interesting.. I might get this even though I already have a 6" version (NECA)
Mafex and hot toys versions are better

I don’t collect figures in this small scale but they do look really cool.
I have the second movie and 3rd hiya robocop and I love them. Say that however the 2nd movie figure has a lot of green and purple for some reason

Feel like you could crush a Hiya Toys figure in your hands lmao
You probably could, but they're more durable than you'd think.
@@hunterlangley8287 I meant Anthony himself since he has pretty big hands lol.
outside of the midsection needing to be like 10% thinner..its pretty good especially for a tiny figure.
Hopefully you can review the Robocop 3 version.
The head of the Hiya toys Robocop look so much better than that crap Figma one from years back.
5:37 He kinda jabs with the spike that comes out of his fist
Isn't it a computer interface?
@@AnthonysCustoms It does that too, but he fucking kills a dude in the movie with it, its *sharp*

Amazing yamaguchi all might and deku next please??

one of his feet wont be level to the ground its always raised slightly to get the proper vertical stance.
Proper stance has one knee bent.

reviews samples are not sent back for low-ticket items like action figures.

How come my robot cop 2 has no needle hand
Is this figure the size of a 3.75" GI Joe figure ?
You got the versión of 2014??
there are several on eBay for $5.99 no SH cost.

cool figure id like to have him the clean version that is :3
The package says "Battle Damage Roboco" lmao
The P was blown away.
I wish you size compare him with a 25th anni gijoe.
Can you review the figma or revoltech hero academia figures
Please
Mine has stiff joints it's probably cause it's new👍
Robocop but mini
are these die cast metal?
