Hope you enjoyed this Sci-Fi Evolution, didn't plan on covering Robo this year since I already animated two heavily armored and robotic characters earlier in the year (Iron Man and Terminator), but I got a hankering for some Robo so I hope you enjoyed it :)

Fun fact: The RoboCop suit (1987) was so hot and heavy that Peter Weller was losing 3 lbs a day from water loss. Eventually, an air conditioner was installed in the suit.

Love it. I came here after binge watching the original Robocop Trilogy. I only watched them before when I was younger in the 90's. Can't believe Robocop movies were so brutal even back then, and the practical effects are so realistic...even in 2022.
The suit is also still high tech looking. They made this ahead of it's time for sure.

Props to giving the Dick Jones animation arms that got longer as he fell backwards. Nice touch.
In the thumbnail, you should’ve made RoboCop Alpha commando saying: “ I have a propeller hat! “

Peter Weller nailed the role in an instant classic, Verhoeven's style of direction still always fresh. I think the clash between Robocop and RoboKane (Robocop 2) in a one-step motion still a better work than the cgi of today, thanks to Tippet.

These animations are so we'll done, we were able to catch a quick glimpse of Murphy's hand being shot off at the beginning of the video. I had to rewind the video a couple times to see it, but I was able to catch it.
Fun Fact: Did you know Peter Weller who played Robocop In 1987 is in a documentary series on the history channel called Engineering an Empire he is in every episode these documentaries talk about Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, The Ancient Mayans, The Ancient Aztecs, The Ancient Persians, etc.
