Sir in P51 2023 June, the last part didn’t include uncertainty of T to find the absolute uncertainty. The question was similar to the last one in this paper. It told us to calculate using gradient and x axis value was given. But they didn’t include the uncertainty of the value on x axis even though they asked us for its uncertainty in the table. It was kind of confusing please help
i dont know why but i find the format for question 1 is very confusing. eg should i separate method mark and my additional details in two different sections or can I just write everything together and the examiner will sort it out?
No. False. You will lose 1 mark for sure. You might also lose 2-3 extra marks for components that should be included in the diagram. However, if they are mentioned in the text, you get marks for those as well!
@@CAIEPapersSolved like I didn’t draw the figure at all but then I mentioned about how to measure the independent variable, dependent variable control variable etc. so I will I still get marks if I have written how to measure them.
Dear sir, in Q2, while finding the y-intercept, do we always have to find it using y=mx+c , or can we find it from the graph from the intersecting point of y-axis?
In additional details, can we write as many points as we can so the examiner could award us marks with the points that are correct and ignore the others( for example if i will write 9 points and among these 9 points, only 5 points are correct so will i get 5 marks?). As this will increase our chance of scoring marks. Or toes the examiner checks the first points mentioned and ignore tge extra points written?
write as many points as possible because there is no negative marking if one of your points is wrong, so out of the 9 points you write even if 5 are correct and 4 are wrong you will still get 5 marks. hope this helps:)
Yes Usually variable in R.H.S of the equation is the Dependent variable which is plotted on y-axis and the variable which is R.H.S of the given equation is independent variable which is plotted on x-axis. It's usually that way but not everytime it's that way, it depends. You also have to check which value can you change yourself (Independent variable) and which you are measuring as a result of that(dependent variable)
Today is Paper 5 exam, we were waiting to receive variant 51, any updates?
for q2 the table is it wrong with the calculation, in my calculation it should be 4.6x10^-4 not -5
Sir , can we use Vmax - Vmin to find the uncertainties? or it only applies for logarithmic expressions?
Hi, if you get a really good mark in p4 (eg; 100/100), but didn't do very well in p5, is there a chance you can get an A*?
defffo
A* for p4 starts from 75/100 so assuming you get a few marks in p5, youd still get an A*

The examiner will sort it out!

Thank you so much I appreciate ur effort
I always wondered where are u form
It's my pleasure! I’m from Bangladesh
Very helpful, Zazakallah bro!
Glad it helped
A.O.A sir are we supposed to write the headings or should we write in paragraphs instead?
Paragraph
sir i wanted to ask if im not understanding how to draw the diagram will i lose only 1 mark or 3 marks
Depends. Usually 1 mark only!
For Q1 how to know which quantity goes in x-axis and y-axis?
check the independent and dependent variable and accordingly put them in x-axis or y-axis
@@khastilarizaldependent variable goes to yaxis and independent goes to xaxis?

L.H.S for dependent variable and R.H.S for independent variable sorry
I wrote potentiometer to measure induced emf..😂😂.
Will I get marks for it?
Yes... -1
Hello sir. Can you do chemistry p4 2023 P41? Thanks
Uploading soon!
Today is Paper 5 exam, we were waiting to receive variant 51, any updates?
wish we had a teacher like you in our school 😫
Sir just wondering when do we use ac or dc current for these type of questions
thank you!
How to Calculate the absolute uncertainty in ln(V/V0)?
is it okay if we get -ve value on 2q d(ii) ?
%uncertainty is always positive

can we choose any point on the graph to find gradients for BF and WF lines? need answer asap PLEASE !
Yes. They have to cover at least 50% of the graph though. The distance between them i mean
thank you boss!@@CAIEPapersSolved
I got 11.1
Sir, will you solve the paper 5 of 2023 ON?

Thank you very much sir!@@CAIEPapersSolved
Since R is the independent variable isn't the graph suppose to the E against 1/R? I'm pretty sure this is wrong
It’s same . Your answer is also right
@@adamfaris4201 thanks for the reassurance :)
the thing is, from the equation it isn't possible to rearrange it to E against 1/R
Q1 is related to transformers. Can you please confirm if transformers are included in P4 or not ???
No they are not. They have been excluded
