    Hi Grace, I discovered your channel recently and each video I watch makes me like it more, so I subscribed just now. I'm 60 and male, so probably not your typical viewer, but I love your unpretentious stye and personality. You seem adventurous and above all, brave, to do so much traveling alone. You'd be a fun person to travel with and watching your videos makes me feel like I'm right there, too. Loved the drone footage and beautiful lanterns in this video. I've never been interested in traveling to Asia, but your videos have opened my eyes and are helping to change my mind. Have a wonderful time and stay safe. You're making memories you will enjoy forever! And yes, I think you should bike around Vietnam and vlog it all!

      I appreciate all the kind words that was so sweet and made me smile reading it. This world is big and time is limited but I hope one of these days you can make it over to Asia. Take care and thanks for being here. Means a lot

    You weren't kidding about the hotel staff being helpful. That was great insight on how to look discrete and avoid attention by wearing face masks to not give the the police an excuse to pull you over. Hope you're enjoying the interaction with VN locals.

    So Hoi An can be reached with a motorbike from Danang. Wow. I miss Vietnam. I once spent a few minutes in Hoi An, just ate Hainese Chicken, because the bus stop in that town.

    FYI, an IDP doesn't count if you were not issued a motorcycle license. Regardless, it's illegal for you to drive there since the US (Canada, Australians) didn't sign the 1968 Vienna Convention. Not saying Americans don't do it, but it is technically illegal and they can confiscate your bike and fine you (they likely won't, but know if they do, they are in the right).

    sup grace, thanks for the vids...enjoyed it alot. let me be your big bro...don't ride from place to place. take sleeper bus to your destination (city, town) and then rent a bike. safety is number one. a litany of issues of concern towards your safety...your skill combine with big ars trucks, road conditions, rules of the road (everyone follows it, right?), mechanical issues, crime would be the lease of your concern, but it's there, etc. you, are alone. don't mean to burst your bubble...take care. peace!

    Great video ...love your positive energy...be careful driving the bike I believe that an international drivers license will only cover you if your Canadian or American license is valid for a motorcycle. I believe otherwise the bike needs to be 50cc or less...Thanks For The Content 😊

    I just hate those tourists complaining about Some Vietnamese ripping them off for a couple of dollars. You guys should not come to Vietnam to complain. You don't know how much money you save to have a good time in a country like this.

    • @doodahgurlie
      @doodahgurlie Год назад

      I have to agree with you on this...especially when we know their daily lattes and such from Starbucks costs way more than that and tastes nowhere near as good as Viet coffee. Plus, many foreigners also get treated a lot better in many ways than locals in that they get things for free (or more of it like food) or staff goes out of their way for them. Plus, unless you see posted fixed prices, then know that Vietnam is a haggling country. If you don't like the price, haggle it down or walk away.
