I opened your channel because of Kindle review, I’m half through it but I just had to pop in here into comments and tel you - you are such a beautiful woman. The hair, fit figure… all of it. I mean I aspire to look like you in two decades or so ❤
This video is so helpful! I watched the whole of it! I am thinking of buy a kindle scribe these days because I have a lot of essays to read and my eyes feel heavy every time I was using the iPad or laptop to read, so I think a kindle scribe may helps me deal with this problems. Thank you for the introduction and comparison of kindle scribe!😊
I found the same thing: the Scribe is fine when reading at a table/counter or in the living room (couch or recliner), but a bit awkward in bed. The Amazon folio cover IS handy because it folds over and holds magnetically, allowing you to use it at a shallow angle for writing, or upright for reading at a table, counter or desk. By the way, there are rubber pads to prevent sliding if you do not use a cover, and the stylus IS reactive, but passively. It uses Wacom’s EMR technology. Bottom line for me is that the Paperwhite is still handy to take along on daily errands or trips and for reading in bed. I think the Scribe will grow in use cases as Amazon adds functionality this year. (I’ve already used it to retrieve, review, and sign documents and return them via the quick link to my regular email account. Very handy.)
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for the additional information about the Scribe. I agree that it will grow in use cases as additional functionality is added. I'm so happy to hear that you're finding the quick link to a regular email useful. I'll have to mess around with that a bit more. Have a great week!
I have only used the Kindle apps and they work fine. I was just given an old Kindle DX so I'm going to give it a go. Where do we go for the free hugs? 😀
I can't wait to hear your thoughts of the DX vs the apps. I use the apps, too, and I like them, too. I love the convenience of just opening the app on whatever device I'm on and sneaking in a page or two when I have a few minutes between activities. And here's your free hug!! 🤗
I have a scribe on the way. As for using an e reader. Kindle got me hooked way back with the keyboard model. Currently I use a paperwhite and an oasis.
Yes!!! Me, too. I’ve been hooked for decades. I’ve been fighting the draw of the Oasis, but I think I’m losing. I’m probably going to end-up with one of those, too . . . for research purposes. 😂 What do you think about the Oasis?
I have three ipads of different sizes and the Kindle Paperwhite. The Kindle goes further with the battery. I have a stylus but I’m not much of a notetaker. The iPad Mini I use on public transport and can double up as a Kindle. I was curious how the larger Scribe compares but I can probably use the iPads for any notetaking.
Honestly, there is nothing that the Scribe does better than the devices that you have. The iPad offers some fantastic options for note taking, and they are only getting better. In my opinion, the Scribe gives a luxury experience for reading, and it's "passable" for note taking. Now that the Scribe offers a 2-column view in landscape, reading on the Scribe really can feel like reading a book, and I like that a lot, but that all goes back to the "luxury experience" for me.
I have and like the Kindle Scribe. As a reading device it lacks the ability to remove books from the home page to the library where the collections are. Organizing your books is important so the home page isn't being cluttered with new books you have purchased or books you have read but don't need them on the home page any longer. The Kindle App on the iPhone, iPad, and Fire have the capability to remove the books back to the library and into collections. Amazon software writers please help the reader have the control for a more pleasant reading experience.
Yes!! Thanks for watching and for your comment -- I absolutely agree! We need more and better ways to organize our books on each Kindle and across devices!!
Thank you so much!! I actually made them myself using Canva. The PopSockets I got from Amazon and Walmart. FYI -- you can find PopSockets for a little cheaper at Walmart than on Amazon, but they don't always have the best selection.
I don't. Another friend on here commented that the Scribe seemed to be a bit less "crisp" than the other Kindles possibly because of the paper-like texture of the screen, and I agree. If it seems like there's something on the screen, that's probably what you're seeing.
You can't compare to the ipad given its a total different kind of device but taking notes feels more like paper writing then on a tablet. Also it has updated with more pen functions
I agree about the comparison; they are totally different devices. I haven't messed with the new pen functions. I'll have to dig into those. Thanks for the tip!
I love my kindle scribe! and just finished reading my 100th book for the year❤
100 books already?!! You're a rockstar!! 🌟🌟 I'm enjoying my Scribe, too. Thanks for your comment. 🤗🤗

You are so kind. Thank you!! And welcome.
First video of yours I’ve seen and I’m impressed. Very good review and comparison.
Thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to watch. Welcome to my channel!!

You're so welcome. I hope it's helpful!! Let us know if you decide to get a Scribe and if you like it!!
thanks for speaking like a normal, calm human. not ultra fast or with indian accent.
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!

Have a great week!
Thank you. You have a great week as well.
I just don't have the funds to afford them.
I use a small tablet stand for reading the ipad or Paperwhite in bed. Is that what you mean by awkward in bed?
Yes. The small stands probably would not work for the Scribe.
I order mine today and I'm so excited
Yay for you!! Let us know your thoughts when you get it!!

I love it and all the other Kindles but I've never owned one.
Thanks so much for your comment. I honestly enjoy Kindle in all of its forms, even reading on my phone and computers. 😍
I LOVE my scribe! Just love it!
Me, too!!
Great video comparison! Thx -I love my paper white
Thank you!! I love the PaperWhite, too!!

The Oasis is the best Kindle ereader so far. Go buy one now!
I do love the Oasis. 🥰

ill be waiting for the scribe that can turn pages with the pen button.
It does seem like the stylus/pen should be more useful than it is. They’re promising updates, so I guess we’ll see. 😀

this is a good comparison

Oh I love your case!! Where did you get the stickers and the popsockets? I love your aesthetic

Do you have a screen protector on the scribe?
I don't. Another friend on here commented that the Scribe seemed to be a bit less "crisp" than the other Kindles possibly because of the paper-like texture of the screen, and I agree. If it seems like there's something on the screen, that's probably what you're seeing.

Best Buy put that expensive device in a cardboard envelope? Damn them!
Right?!! 😂
So, let me guess you're reading 1000 books per year right?
😂 I wish!! I really just want to sit on the couch and pet my dogs and read books but . . . you know . . . life. 😂
You don’t have different ken dolls acrossed the spectrum of your ken doll needs?
Yeah, you need another Kindle. 😂
I DID need it. 😂
You and your toys!😂
😂 Right? Me: I really don't NEED this beautiful, huge Kindle . . . also Me: Why didn't I get the one with more memory?!! 😂😂 I am the WORST!!
@@fitdaniellereads 😂 Seriously
