Jump scare crate

Quick and dirty crate prop
Picked up this small crate on a FB-free site to turn it into a jump scare prop.
Using leftover nuts bolts and hose clamps.
I tried using a wire attached to the bolt but it kept shearing off. My wife suggested a disc that would spin so I used a hole saw to cut out a wood disc. I drilled two small holes for zip ties to go through and secured the nuts to that. I used two hose clamps I cut to strap the drill in place. Small hole out of the back of the crate for the power cord. I will add skeleton hands and light to complete the prop.

It’s amazing what we can do with the stuff that we have laying around. Just takes an idea and the desire to get it done . Happy Halloween🎃
