A bit late but I thought what the heck: I like the daddy cooler kit because I won't need to use a ruler. It's pretty much just plug & play and I like it that way. Changing AC into DC is the rectifier's mission, I just need to decide on its new position. Do I put it under the triple tree or will under the oil cooler suit me? New brackets, stainless steel bolts and slick new cables will James send me. Now that it's in a cooler place the voltage remains at a steady pace. Yep, I think I'm in the right place. The daddy cooler kit is just right for me!
Hi James, I don't know if Royal Enfield was spying on your channel about the position of the RR on the Bear Inty but if you look at the new 650 classic it seems the RR is always in the odd position and not in the front. Any thoughts ?
@@morgan.enfield mmm….several people have suggested that maybe RE have been spying. The RR on the Bear is certainly under the oil cooler. I wasn’t aware re the new 650 classic but, imo, if the RR is under the bike, as with the Interceptors and GT’s, it’s a problem waiting to happen!
Hi james iv just fitted the daddy cooler to my continental-gt 650 it took 2h 30mins road the bike 118miles babk home put my hand on the rectifier after turning the off bike it was stone cold
@@theadventuresofbellatheenf4627 I was out on mine yesterday…..only a 26 mile round trip and I was so frozen solid that I had to sit in a hot bath to get my body core temperature up! And I couldn’t feel my fingers! Watch yourself out there in this….the roads felt kind of slippery and greasy round here and I just hate that slight ‘slidey’ feeling that the front tyre sometimes has on wet/muddy/cold roads.
@internetpolification I looked on Google for the daddy cooler not listed ps the 650 meteor the rectifier is placed in same place as the interceptor 650 I had a good look at one today hmm why royal enfeild ?
