This song is addicting. I love the riffs, the solo, the double bass part, and tobias sammet's singing is the tip of the iceberg. This song, my fellow edguy fans, is a masterpiece.
"Not as serious"? "Tobi sang way better"? Lol, his voice is increasingly getting better, and it's extremely good today. And they still don't take themselves extremely seriously. I mean, you have to take yourself seriously to a certain extent, no matter the circumstances, but like Tobi said on the Superheroes DVD: "We take our music very seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We wouldn't want anyone to think we have no sense of humour."
@Ferriswheel31 i dont see the connection... is there anyone in this world to say that iron maiden play or ever played power??? because edguy play power so if u say that edguy are influenced by helloween(as the rest of the bands play power) then ok, but maiden??? gimme a break....
The thing is, these guys give it their all on live shows, and that's why there's very little sloppyness in their preformance. But Edguy stick to playing the song the same way they did in studio, plus the concert feeling. It only takes talented musicians, and that's what Edguy are. Tobias Sammet is also good at singing live, which most vocalists aren't. Many vocalists aren't really giving their all when they got many shows to save their voice in a top-notch condition. He does not, however.
Yeah well Iron Maiden influenced Helloween who created power metal. Therefore Iron Maiden is a big influence to power metal. Iron Maiden, Helloween, and Edguy are all awesome bands.
Edguy is not a "very bad, sucking band". They still have made the playback songs, right? Of course they have. And I'm guessing you've never seen them live.
@hungdaika173 except Andi Deris is just bad. Tobias is beast. And sounds more like Bruce Dickinson and Michael Kiske combined into one singer. Just not as technical as either but shares sounds from both. saying he sounds like Deris is a insult lol.
hm....entweder das video ist schlecht geschnitten oder man sieht wirklich das er an einigen stellen gar nicht ins micro singt obwohl man die stimme hört ....die stimmqualität ist auch erstaunlich gut im vergleich zu anderen videos von dem abend, und das bei einem recht ansträngenden lied....
