I too have been playing the COD for years, and hate where the game has went. But I cant deny the gun play in the new COD's is actually pretty decent, the thing I hate most is that the microtransactions kind of took the forefront of there money making model for the series. Have you given the new COD's a chance at all though, because many things still feel the same. The core gunplay is pretty good IMO. By the way good video! I enjoyed it.
I have tried them a bit and although I don't think they are bad games overall, they don't feel quite the same and the style of FPS Call of Duty used to be, isn't what the new games are. Something just doesn't quite click with me. I never shame people who do enjoy them, but I've learned that at least as of now, I have not been the target audience for these games sadly. Plus, the micro transactions are total buzzkill. 🤦🏻♂️
I don't encounter hackers that often, I find it more annoying that most of players are like 10th prestige and are super over powered, the teams are rarely well balanced and it is just not like back in the day when you had a mix of skills and an average player could still score pretty well. It happens sometimes that I'm the leading player in the lobby but seems like most of the time people who play these old cods are so much skilled that you cannot even build your own skill back up to be able to perform, they just own your ass.
Ever since the Microsoft patch a few months back, the hackers seem few and farther between but I hear you on the 10th prestige guys. Seems like a lot of players on these games just never left and are still dominating the lobbies. At the end of the day, I'm just glad the games are still alive.
Anything from Black Ops 4 onwards is where I and a lot of OG CoD fans felt like they completely abandoned the original premise and gameplay of the series. Imo it doesn't even feel like the same game anymore...
Looks like some folks already chimed in for me! And I agree. The new games just aren't the same and aren't as enjoyable in the same way these games were.
@@jims9438I’d put the decline even earlier, myself. Black Ops2 was the last one I bought and played. Came back for a few later on but was always disappointed.
To be fair after BO2 I didn't buy another CoD game until I got an XBox 1 and Black Ops 4. I spent years just playing Blops 1 and 2 and the OG MW3. I skipped right past all the jet pack games and WW2.

I’ve been playing lot of the older cods and bf3 too, WAW doesn’t have as many hackers as it used to… but I say it definitely has the worst net code

Simple answer, the old cods are far better. Especially for us now “old uns” who grew up playing the OG cods.

Try a game called enlisted it’s quite similar and more recent too
