Wow! I love this design of the dragon because this is how dragons are usually depicted in Asian cultures! It's unlike the usual dragons we see in western cultures.
it's not quite right to say dragon is from Asian culture, because in my place Southeast Asia has a belief in the shape of a dragon like a lizard, maybe a snake-shaped dragon can be said from Chinese culture.
this fight was amazing, the elemental effects on fire, water, sand and even lightning all look so pretty it’s like top tier cgi, idk how to explain it but it looks gorgeous i’m also a big fan of lightning in general, so whenever i see it in a game, movie or anime i geek out lol

nah its not dark souls.. in dark souls you are in a slow paced fights you cant run that much as stamina will deplete.. and also the boss doesnt hit hard or has crazy fast attack speed if the game has dodge hit dodge hit mechanics it doesnt automatically feel like dark souls. every attack in dark souls feels so calculated, you will feel the risk of getting hit in every attack because of vulnerability window of each attack not like this it feels more like a monster hunter than dark souls though

Should definitely include a flurry of aimed attacks from the dragon - maybe the dragon can try to bite at you 3-4 times in a row periodically. Looks pretty easy the way it is now imo

It is based on the most famous novel in China, named "Journey to the West" , written in the 16th Century. Dragon Ball is inspired in the same book (Son Goku = Sun Wukong)
Would have loved to see: - An epic airborne fight where you get to ride the cloud and fight in the air - The player getting on the dragon's back to deal damage as some sort of a cinematic battle sequence

Since when does games being empty make them less of a smash hit ? Look at MGSV from 2015 - a stealth action game with two big maps that are completely barren, with nothing interesting going on in them and no variety whatsoever. Was a big hit and everyone sucked Video Gojira so hard he ended up making an *EVEN MORE* barren and tiresome borefest of a game afterwards !) It never matters.

No. It now looks terrible, and the entire boss design is changed. It's no longer a gimmic fight, it's now a spam your controller and fight the camera fight. (With a completely different looking dragon btw)

I don't know much about journey to the west lore, but I doubt it to be as intricate and deep as lord of the rings. Especially given that it was made in the 1500s. Based on what I've experienced of its influences and from word of mouth, it basically sounds like it would be a Harry Potter or Percy Jackson kind of book in terms of length. A nice chunky fantasy book, but not the lord of the rings big, or the holy Bible big. A nice big chapter book more like it.

This game really raises the bar of how to make fights in a video game. They are smooth and "readable", not just mindless bashing everywhere in the air.
In traditional dragons they have a body of a lizard with wings and horns also can spit fire but this dragon is a whole another level cuz Asian dragons aren't like the other dragons
Please make it more difficult. It looks amazing, but easy af. And fix hitboxes. I counted, at least, 4 times were you should´ve received damage, but nothing happened. I´m still amazed and i´m hoping the best for this. Great work!
Either Oda splitted such an idea with Luffy and Sabo. Or if Flame Emperor dies from Imu , Luffy take his Pipe and through G5 extentes it to fight Final Form Imu.

Graphics are great but that fighting needs to be more agile with more acrobats and allow you to jump on the dragon or atleast have commands for it like ff15
Nothing about what you guys are saying is what I said about ff15 I only mentioned one part of it and the Acrobats are still better but I said the game needs more acrobats and if they want to save coding for other features than we should atleast have a command like ff15 to ride on big enemies and attack them while having some superior acrobats with the monkey king I would love to scale the dragon manually and it would still prob come from a command like ff15 and if not even better but the ff15 command is cool where your mirror neurons feel the hype while your fighting plus I don't even know if you play ff15 like I do the game gets really fun if you know how to actually play and enjoy everything the game has to offer

Never played a fighter style type game like this before but after watching this I want try it out for sure!

Wow. They completely changed the design for this boss, how it looks. From the introduction, to the ending. The fight now sucks and looks terrible. This looks awesome. I really hope they re-add this.

I like this boss fight, one of the few problems I had with Sekiro was they pretty much made the dragon boss fight in that game a joke.
I actually thought it was a breath of fresh air were they mostly focused on a cinematic fight, but i also agree with you, not the most mechanical fight

This game really raises the bar of how to make fights in a video game.

It's more precise and less "random" in fighting, if It's understandable what I mean.
In traditional dragons they have a body of a lizard with wings and horns also can spit fire but this dragon is a whole another level cuz Asian dragons aren't like the other dragons
dragons are considered fish in chinese mythology. When they fly they actually swim in the air
Chinese dragon is definitely the only traditional one because it appeared thousands of years earlier than the western dragon.
Please make it more difficult. It looks amazing, but easy af. And fix hitboxes. I counted, at least, 4 times were you should´ve received damage, but nothing happened.

Either Oda splitted such an idea with Luffy and Sabo. Or if Flame Emperor dies from Imu , Luffy take his Pipe and through G5 extentes it to fight Final Form Imu.
For a dragon boss fight it leaves some things to be desired, in my opinion. But overall it’s seems like a decent boss

I won't say look like since it's different cultures and mythology we are talking about, but this dragon is definitely missing the intimidation and adrenaline boosting feeling of darkeater midir.

Graphics are great but that fighting needs to be more agile with more acrobats and allow you to jump on the dragon or atleast have commands for it like ff15
no.....im not trying to watch a cut scene, if anything battles need to be harder akin to god of war
FFXV isn´t the best example for this lol (i still played it for 300 hours xD)
Nothing about what you guys are saying is what I said about ff15 I only mentioned one part of it and the Acrobats are still better but I said the game needs more acrobats and if they want to save coding for other features than we should atleast have a command like ff15 to ride on big enemies and attack them while having some superior acrobats with the monkey king I would love to scale the dragon manually and it would still prob come from a command like ff15 and if not even better but the ff15 command is cool where your mirror neurons feel the hype while your fighting plus I don't even know if you play ff15 like I do the game gets really fun if you know how to actually play and enjoy everything the game has to offer
@@vincenttran5920 its not watching a cutscene it's not like Naruto storm you have to earn the command in the middle of combat with your mirror neurons still engaged and I said atleast ,god of war is great but that's a different style of gameplay if anything avengers has that style and possibly better because of the acrobats but both games are great and need more expansion god of war needs to have bigger free roam so we can enjoy enjoy kratos full power, since he can jump really high than in free roam his travel should be great with his powers
