I feel you on the thickness, her hair is definitely thick. My daughter Victoria Angel, is a mixture of African American, Native American, and Latina. This child has enough hair for 4 adults, it doesn’t look real, when I flat iron it. She has a head full of curls, Cosmetologist hate to see her coming, and always complain, even though I tip very well.🤷🏽♀️

Carla she’s a big departure from your usual clients. Proud of this young lady; she know that -that glue is no good for your hair. She probably only wears styles like this for special occasions and it’s not a lifestyle. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous. She’s done a good job caring for it.

@Coco true. I thought my hair wasn’t full & thick either. But I made some lifestyle changes. Now when my stylist sees me she gets happy. Here’s what I’ve done. 1) I take 10,000iu of vitamin D daily plus K2. 2) I consume hydrolyzed protien powder daily aka collagen peptide powder and unflavored bone broth powder daily. I encourage you to study up on those products but I will say this; when we turn 25 our bodies produce less collagen every year. That’s why hair gets thinner and skin gets wrinkled. Lastly, I completely changed my diet. I only eat meat, carciferious vegetables & fats. I don’t eat sugar, processed carbs or fruit (fruits have lots of sugars and carbs). In other words, I onIy eat whole foods. Everything is not organic;I do the best I can. I do not eat package foods (with the exception of cauliflower rice). I do take a few more vitamins but if you do the 3 things I’ve listed your hair will be the best it can be. What you put in your body will come out in the wash. Your diet matters heavily. I thought I had thin hair until I started putting healthy things in my body. My hair is sooooo luscious & gorgeous. The best hair products in the world won’t help your hair until your diet is right. I wear my hair cornrowed 2 weeks with wigs and loose 1 week before I get it done by my stylist. Every time I take my cornrows doesn’t I’m actually astounded at my own hair.
@Coco yes some people are naturally blessed. But the rest of us have to put in the extra for fabulous hair & skin. Bonus: Plus all my bodily pains are gone with the collagen.

@@kayrobbie5840 She wants to wear this style for prom and since she's all natural, her hair can revert and draw up with the least bit of moisture. Since she's not chemically relaxed this is what's best for her.
Your client is truly blessed with thick healthy hair. The styles fit her features but I prefer the first style on her. Your magical hands also give great results.

@Japhya3 yeah rite ! When has anybody ever had a problem with a kid looking 65 you were clearly talking about hairstyles that ppl wear that are reedy and hip that maybe the 20/30 yr old wear. I’m very fashion forward and up to date with the times . You sound like you wud have your kid wearing old ass hairstyles , seeing you use the word grown ! Girl bye ! I love how her hair turned out, very pretty and creative styling. Both looks came out great. But she has beautiful hair, and I’d love to see it naturally curly or silk pressed. I could see why she doesn’t want to use glue, because it makes the hair fall out, and causes alopecia.

Beautiful work! I can understand why she'd want a departure from her natural hair for her special occasions. Getting the partial sew-in first and the rest done later makes a lot of sense.
Less time messing with her own hair too and this is protective style. The less we touch our hair the more it grows.

I could sit and watch you do hair all day. You are so talented. My granddaughter is 11 and has hair very much like this young lady's. She has never had it cut or treated in any way. When she was younger she used to say her hair keeps her warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I would love to have seen this young lady dressed for the prom. I am sure see looked beautiful.
Saw this type hair long and thick like that all the time,down the back, in the 60's-90's. I grew up next door to a pressing comb hair beauty shop. Oh and how she could lay them finger waves!!. Sisters be looking so beautiful coming out the shop! Even skin be flawless beautiful ,as if they had on makeup but they didn't! Natural beautiful black Queens!
Wow! I had no clue how a “weave” was done and it is incredible! I lost all of my hair to breast cancer treatment, and then it got really thin after having COVID. This would be a perfect option for someone like me! Except I have very fine, blonde hair. Excellent job and thank you for sharing!

I know a lot of white women ther get weaves. My aunt is white and had a salon and had different extension techniques based on the whatever texture her white clients had. You can definitely get a sew in or something of the sort. Not to mention j know so many women who’s hair changed after Covid! My sisters hair didn’t thin but her roots got super thick and different from her other hair texture. There are other ppl like her who said it’s similar to “chemo curls” and apparently it reverts back eventually. I think your hair will thicken back up eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later 😩
@@letricewalton4421 I had breast cancer two years ago and I definitely had “chemo curls.“ My fine, blonde hair came back very thick, brown and curly! I looked so different, that I had to go back to blonde. So, I started getting highlights again and my hair eventually went straight again.
@@JenShaw22 I had immunotherapy and radiation treatments this past year and I went from straight, waist length blonde hair to, now, a couple inches of wavy, grayish dirty blonde hair. I'm 55 so I did color it for years. It was the radiation that did it for me. There is a patch where the radiation was most concentrated and it's silver gray. I may do a Jamie Lee Curtis pixie hairstyle!!

Me sittin here knowin my natural hair just as thick. 😳 ive broke combs, brushes, blown electrical outlets XD...takes me 9+ hours. People wonder why black women are so obsessed with our hair. As a white boy, I have to consciously remind myself not to stare at black men and woman’s hair, I love it and am fascinated by it. I love the styles, the variety, the individuality and pure creativeness that men and woman put into their hair. Perfect grooming. Especially the women . I guess it’s a thing I have, but manners and protocol 😉. One day I’m gonna get in trouble.
