I am not sure how “canon” this ending is, but I definitely feel that Shadow being a guardian would fit with his character, given his history and his relationship with the professor and Maria.
@@west-oak5192 Definitely, since ARK was a top-secret research facility for weapons of mass destruction, so preventing those things falling to wrong hand is important (for example, Eclipse Cannon)
@@davidhung5425 It is amazing how much lore and how many possibilities can be brought into existence depending on how Shadow choose his fate. Even if the route leads to the same ending, the steps to get there (the stages) would make for some different developments for how Shadow concludes his journey.
