Daniel used to live in my neighborhood, so I knew him ... Daniel Küblböck went missing on a ship cruise in 2018. They never found him and so he was official declared dead in 2020 ... 😞
As we know his mother, we went to the private memorial celebration ... < a hard and tough memory! :´-( Daniel was an extremly nice guy! A bit crazy for sure, but fine, nice dude! ♥

2:58 you are completely right - "Country roads" is originally from 🇺🇸 written by the OG John Denver.
The German version by Hermes Houseband is just a modernized version of the original.
The same applies to most of the tracks from 🇸🇪 act Rednex that based most of their songs on even older 🇺🇸 originals like "Cotton-eyed Joe" or "Old pop in an oak".

I think they count music produced in germany as well and samu has been living in germany for years now, so they probably produced at least part of their music in germany
@@lulaa123 But not at this time. They produced the album in Finland and Sweden and the record label wasn't a german one until 2013. So the song doesn't have any connection with germany.

Böhse Onkelz vs Jesus ist the Song Name....the Onkelz are/ were a controversal band... There was was survey with Teenagers where they showed Pictures...all recocnized the Onkelz,but only some could Name Jesus 🤷

So, not even knowing some of the artist or songs as a german, i think I can say these were definitly not the most popular songs from germany. The only band in this compilation, which gets International famous was Rammstein. But the most known, would know a days be the Scorpions. So yea that wasn't the best Video... sorry

Немецкие песни на немецком языке никому не известны. Есть исключения - группа Раммштайн, певец Фалько. А других знают только в Германии. Это как русские исполнители в России известны только в России.

I never heard a compilation that contained this many bad songs, like you though. I regret eating while watching this.
If I measure by percentage of songs from this compilation that are in my personal playlist, this list is better than the 80s list. But that's just subjective personal taste.
Since this list is based on avg charts in germany by year, objectively each of these songs was really popular and sold a lot, which means at the time they came out, they have been good in the eyes of a big number of people.
but u know the music of today, right?🤣 in comparison those songs are a million times better
@@Robbbbinator Popularity doesn´t make anything automatically actually good though. I guess I now know what I think about germans and their taste in music. I´m not the biggest fan of today´s pop music, but this was far worse and I regret watching this so much.
