literally the first people i've seen acknowledge that all the dog breeds charlotte is familiar with are big bc she's german! she grows to love pom poms though. 🙂

It will ALL make sense as the episodes progress…the only thing I will say is that this love story is one of the best of bridgerton. It is heartbreakingly beautiful….again it will All make sense what’s wrong with George and you will cry. Episode 3 will shed some light.

So I've seen all the episodes, and without spoiling, I think George has reasons for his actions, even though he should have acted differently from the start. I understand why he does what he does here, but it would have been better if he did some things different.
I totally get what you're saying, but I think their ages should be taken into account. Charlotte was 17 and George 23. It's probably the first relationship for both, AND it's a royal marriage with all the pressures to "perform." Recipe for disaster. I enjoyed it fully though.

Either way I agree that the situation isn't ideal for either of them, and I get why he does as he does, just think that if George did the hard thing from the start and told her, it would have been easier for both of them later. That said I still like the characters and I'm definitely rooting for them
@@tyrabohman4470 as much as i get what youre saying, I also agree! but if i was him, the king of england with that much pressure on my shoulders, in 1760/70, married to this wonderful lady whose life I think will be ruined if she has to spend it with me, i think i'd also hesitate to just outright come clean and say 'im insane so you can either choose to leave or stay', i would've also tried to take measures to make her life happier. George also thought of her as a normal woman and didn't actually realize it was possible for them to get SO emotionally attached. That being said, he should've told her. Maybe not as soon as they got married, but he should've anyway. She found out in a really heartbreaking way.

"the great experiment" isn't really to do with just connecting their courts. having someone in the royal family be of another race has never happened before till this point - as lady danbury says in bridgerton season 1, and repeats in this show - "their sides" didn't mingle till charlotte became the queen. it essentially means if the marriage fails, then all the people of colour now bestowed with titles will lose everything they gained from this union.

I’m only halfway through, but from what I’ve seen, I do think this show might break you 😢If you have time for another one season show after this, I highly recommend Lockwood & Co. It’s cool and spooky and there seems to be a lot of overlap between its fanbase and Kanej shippers, if that tells you anything 😉

Is sh they showed more of a montage of Charlotte being alone and George not talking to her even have her worte letters mabey about her confusion to him only to not have a response so we FEEL her frustration mabey even have her question him if he has a mistress
Or Maybe they could have built UP to their consumation of their wedding night cuz Charlotte doesn’t seem like the type to have sex with someone even in duty to someone whom she doenst like or that doesn’t like her like build their bond more and get to know eachother more
