I cried. Not just because of the loss of a great man and artist, but just how much Toriyama has inspired many an artist, myself included. This video is as powerful as any genki dama/spirit bomb and it only captures a fraction of the man's influence. I grew up with Dragon Ball and Toriyama's influence inspires me in new ways to this day. I bought and read through his Manga Theatre collection recently and I recommend anyone to do so. That book alone has shown me Toriyama was a truly hardworking man. I love that "Wonder Island" was a flop because it shows just how much he grew as an artist. He wasn't a born genius as we often believe our heroes to be. But he was no less an amazing person whose work will continue to be seen and touch many people. Thank you for making this video and thank you to all the amazing artists who will no doubt continue on the artistic spirit! And of course, thank you Akira Toriyama. Rest easy.
