Undoubtedly the best ever lecture. Wasted huge amounts on renowned institutes for coaching and returned to free lectures on you tube and found this gold mine for geometry.
thankyou so much for this I was searching for this kind of lecture from some days I read the basics and properties of triangles many times but I was unable to use them , U made a separate part mentioning where to use them or how to use them that was really helpful..... Lots of love 🖤
i think we can easily calculate the area of the rest of the triangle abc from triangle gbc by applying this simple logic that the the circum radiuses of abc will divide abc into 3 equal triangle. exclude 1 from the 3 sub triangles in the form of gbc, so the area of the remaining triangle abc will be"- 2/3 x Area of ABC = 2/3 x 250_/3 = 500/_/3
@Ashish Shaw how does it matter when you are getting everything for free, also, there are many instances when we say something but we do not mean that, for eg I might say 4+1 = 6 in a flow, but I know it's 5, please appreciate someone when they take efforts to do something without any monetary benefit, I mean this video. All the best buddy.
I dint understand how for an obtuse triangle in this situation x will be either greater than 15 or less than 15 and also which side is considered to be x.. can anyone explain?
@@pratibhajose8624 in a obtuse angle triangle c2>a2+b2 where c is the greatest side so if x is greater than 15 it will be c other wise if it is less than 15 it will be side other than c
Can you please make 2 more videos on geometry 1) circles and polygons 2) the basics part, i.e finding of angles, using concepts of interior and exterior angles, and exterior angles ( in triangles) Would be really helpful
In the question of triangle with centroid G, how can you say AB=40 ft, BC=35 ft, AC=25 ft ? it is not mentioned in the question which side is of what length?
Hi, thank you for this lecture. However, in part Angle bisector & incentre, you said "We draw a line to B such that it bisects angle A so we say that angle ABD = angle DBC". doesnt seem right as there is no such angle as DBC.
Since we know that centroid divided the triangle into 6 equal half ,so dividing the original area 6 and subtracting from GBC , gives the same result mam pls do reply
The range of X was to check for all possible values in case of a general triangle, i.e. no side is greater than other two sides' sum. Whereas, then the two conditions are being used to check specifically for obtuse angle property, that states the longest sides' square is less than the sum of square of other two sides. So if 15 is longest side, we take one condition or else the other
Actually it is found that X can take values greater than 7 and less than 23.So there are two possibilities 1.X is not the largest possible side of the triangle .=>15 will be the largest possible side (from the given data).so the value of x will be less than 15 2.X is the largest possible side of the triangle => X is greater than 15 and can take values greater than 15. Which is nothing but =>15
There's a background sound like the one we can hear in a root canal. That's quite irritating, But I don't mind the content is far better to be bothered about that:)

Question at 37:00
We can directly find the area
As we know the medians divides the triangle in 6 parts
Right??
So directly
Area(gbc)= 4/6 x area(abc)

How is FE the altitude of triangle GBC?
FE is not passing through any vertices
Same question
Since we know that centroid divided the triangle into 6 equal half ,so dividing the original area 6 and subtracting from GBC , gives the same result mam pls do reply

Please explain how an obtuse angled triangle will have x>15 or x
two cases sister 1.)15 is longest side of obtuse angled triangle 2.)15 is not longest side of obtuse angled triangle :)
Actually it is found that X can take values greater than 7 and less than 23.So there are two possibilities
1.X is not the largest possible side of the triangle .=>15 will be the largest possible side (from the given data).so the value of x will be less than 15
2.X is the largest possible side of the triangle => X is greater than 15 and can take values greater than 15. Which is nothing but
