    Thank you for sharing this info. Questions.
    In your video "GoPro Hero 10 Black BEST Underwater Settings in 2023" which you posted 1 year ago, your recommended setting is
    WB = 5000, Color = Vibrant, EV Comp = -0.5, Sharpness = Med
    However, in this video, you changed the above as below:
    WB = Native, Color = Natural, EV Comp = ??, Sharpness = ??
    Having said this,
    Q1: Can you tell us the background of your changes?
    Q2: Can you let us know your recommended settings for EV Comp and Sharpness?
    btw, I use Premier Pro and GoPro 10.
    Thx!

    Hi Ryuta, I found it! I had neglected to click on scopes! Once I did there it was!! Keep the fantastic videos coming! I am learning a lot in between dives here in Grand Caymans (on vacay).

    Hi, do you use pink filter when you are snorkeling? I use one and i dont have the same basic video look

    • @RyutaOg
      @RyutaOg  Год назад

      Hey Fabian! I actually don't use any filters or case when snorkelling. That might be why the original video looks different! I'd recommend pink filter for scuba diving below 15m or so!

    great explanation, thanks! what i was wondering: wouldnt it be possible to do color grading on videos shot on vibrant (or natural mode)? i see everyone recommending shooting flat in order to color grade, but why couldnt you have the best of both worlds?

    My personal recommendation would be to use nodes whenever possible. It’s will make your life slightly easier

    • @RyutaOg
      @RyutaOg  Год назад

      Very true! I always use nodes for more complex gradings!

    Great simple tutorial, thanks! Would these recommended settings remain the same if you were using a red filter? I’ll be scuba diving in Thailand in a few months so would really appreciate some tips. If you’ve already covered this in another video perhaps you could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

    • @RyutaOg
      @RyutaOg  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the comment! I'd recommend similar settings, however if you're going pretty deep I'd increase the iso max to 800 or so!

    Hi there, Thanks for posting this instructional video. I downloaded Davinci 18.1 free version and I am not finding the "Parade" setting on menu. Do you think I need to use the paid version for that functionality? Thanks Ryuta!

    • @RyutaOg
      @RyutaOg  Год назад

      Hey! Thanks for the comment! It's not a paid feature so it should be available! Have u tried clicking on reset view. It should be in the settings menu by parade.

    Do you have a problem with your GoPro over heating while shooting 5k underwater while in a case. Mine starts to over heat after probably 20 minutes. I was shooting at 120fps because it’s my first GoPro and i dont know what I’m doing. I did not have this issue shooting at 4k 60fps. Water temp was only 68. Depth of 30ft. I have a hero 10 black

    • @RyutaOg
      @RyutaOg  8 месяцев назад +1

      Higher frame rates tend to really overwork the gopro so if ur shooting 120 frames then try to keep the videos a little shorter each time! 5k/60 i've never really had that problem so far!

    • @RyutaOg

      No problem at all! I use format:mp4, codec: h264, Res: Ultra HD (4k) !

    Without using Davinci Resolve, could one color grade the video with some of the same settings on an iphone 14pro max after the video is transferred from gopro to iphone?

    • @realakestate
      @realakestate Год назад

      Not using an app either, just using the settings from the video edit tab. Temperature, brightness, contrast, saturation, etc...
