  • Decided to use my Christmas bonus to go on a fishing trip. Went about an hour from my house in Tennessee down to Ellijay, Georgia. Backwoods Fishing guide took us out on carters lake for stripe bass and spotted bass. It was a totally different way of fishing than i had done before.

    Let me know what you think about this video, it was definitely different than my usual stuff and was a pain editing this video down to under 20 minutes,

    Dropped the Christmas lights off the roof and electrocuted the cat on the wet lawn - but there's a new Creek Fishing Adventures
    upload!
    I'll deal with the fire later.

    Very Nice video John. I have a Lake Striper trip planned with my dentist this spring at Smith Mtn Lake where 20-30lbers are caught a lot. My dentist caught a 30 lber a few weeks ago. This video has me wishing for that trip to be sooner.

      haha, i bet you are ready to go, sounds like that will be a good trip. it was kind of hard to make the video for this one because there was so much stuff going on. i probably should have just mounted 2 cameras to run and get both sides of the boat

    I enjoyed this video greatly! Different location and all. I have not been to Carter Lake yet....I didn't see any shore line smothered and covered in vacation homes..ACOE project guessing. Reminds me Tim Fords Lake being undeveloped shore mostly. Your Captain and guide sure hustled and got multi species and count I think. Lots of info I didn't have before. I've bounced around and fished around Carter but have yet got on it with my yak. Thanks!

    You need to go deep sea fishing if you haven't evey been. It is worth the money. My uncle and I did a trip a few years back and bring home around 30lbs or more of fish.

    How deep we're you fishing? Fishing on the bottom? Would like to see how you rigged up

    • @CreekFishingAdventures
      @CreekFishingAdventures  5 лет назад

      Yah I meant to show that but forgot, most areas were 50-60 feet and were fishy right off the bottom because all the bait fish were down there. 15 lb mono line with 10pb flouro leader and sinker about 5 ft up from hook

    • @tjphillips9053
      @tjphillips9053 5 лет назад

      The depth varied but usually anywhere from 30 foot to 70 foot. The captain would see them on the fish finder and tell us what depth we needed to be at. Most of time it was only about 5 or 10 feet from the bottom. Occasionally they would come up to 30 foot.
