Maybe we'll get there but it seems like a ton of grind to make any money so far...
you should get the extension for you hog or whatever it's called. that way you can place 2 more mats down. and trust me, you will get your machines faster than you think. also try to go for at least 20% fill when it comes to your mats
Haines is a fun little town. I grew up in the Yukon and we would go to Haines to fish or buy American candy bars (childhood perspective of why we drove for hours). Love the scenery in this game. It made me a little home sick.
This game is super interesting. I'm hoping they added a lot more content

I've always loved the idea of refining what seems to be just dirt and eventually through a lot of 'sifting' getting a result that is shiny and luxurious, I would love to see more just because the game itself has an idea I love.

I dunno about anyone else, but I wouldn't mind watching more. Should be easier to play once you've reached the automatic stuff though. Then you get to find out how hiring and stuff works!

This is really cool. I saw a tv program called Devil's Canyon where it was half extreme survival and half gold panning. Apparently there's millions in gold there but it's almost impossible to get to because of the environment! - You'd probably like it.

Buy a chute extension, 2 more mats and a box with a pump, sorry i dont know the technical names of all the machinery so i use basic terminology, but that way panning will be much more efficient.
Love the video, definitely do more! I love watching the show, you should check it out. However, the locations, vehicles and such aren't in the show. Pretty much the main screen music and that one image of the 3 miners is the only thing from the show lol

I think Milton in the Long Dark had a bigger population than Gold Rush Town. All that's missing is the tumbleweed.
Interesting game. One thing that occurred to me... your Steam library must have more titles than a lot of small town libraries. Do you use the Dewey Decimal System to organize all those games, Mr. PSJ?

Hey Paul I would like to recommend a game to ya! It's called foxhole, I'm pretty sure you've never played it but idk. It's like running with rifles but every AI is replaced with a player. I think you would love it!
On the show they usually do what you have done to see how much gold there is in that plot of land... I think you should try digging in other places on your rented terrain to seek a greater concentration of gold.
