I'm still holding the 100 shares that I bought on 12/21/22 for $6.09. Added 45 shares last Monday morning at $22.63/share. Those shares have been added to the 1,000s of shares I have at a $10.27 dca. Not selling nothing ;-)
I have 176 shares back and forth about buying more. I generally invest in ETF's (VOO, SCHD, and QQQm) but I have positions in Tesla, Vertex, and Palantir. Going to buy more of either Palantir or Tesla.
Good man Alex I was in Pltr a long time ago and watched them sink and sink and finally dumped my whole position . I started to appreciate the company again when you covered them in such depth when you recognized your error about boot camps I bought back in at $21 which was hard to admit I had completely let my emotions make the decisions for me. This time I was buying right up to close of the market on earnings day and I’m glad I did thanks for educating us on what they do . It’s easy to hold through all the negative msm bs. Now I just buy the dip and wait for pltr to go up and up . Cheers 🍻👍
Buying PLTR now is what rookie investors do. Wait until it dips. Because it will. You should have bought PLTR 2 years ago when it was hovering around 8 bucks a share. I had no clue who they were or what they did back then i literally just trusted another ytber and went scaling in little by little. Luckily and i do mean luckily that person was Tom Nash. I got in around 9 and some change and never looked back. I dont swing trade this stock this is a long term hold. So if you are looking to scale into PLTR. Be careful and dont rush into it now AFTER earnings. This will cost you in the short term as your cost average is going to be high and you will lose money when it dips. BUUUUTTT if you do go into it at this level, make sure you hold and dont touch this stock for the next 5 years MINIMUM. Gl peoples be smart

It broke through resistance and retested. A lot of that was due to all the call options that expired friday. Market makers didn’t want those $30 calls to expire in the money

It's one of the highest prices it's ever been, so in the short term this is a high price. But then again, if you intend to hold for the long term when the stock price might be $100 or even $1.000, then does it really matter wether you bought at $29? The point is, if you buy in at this high, you better be able to stumach red numbers without selling over some amount of time before you'll eventually see the stock reach a price you are happy with. Does that make sense?

They were building this software back when NVidia was just a graphics card maker for gamers. GeForce brother! This is the only true AI play that actually uses AI successfully right now as we speak.

67 billion valuation for 2.5 billion revenue growing at maybe 20 percent per year. I don't know. It's so hard to want to buy this one as it doesn't seem like a hyperscaler and is already a hype company.
@@phillipperkins5476 You and I have a very different view of what hyperscaling is and what that looks like economically. MSFT and GOOG are hyperscalers and it shows in the revenue growth. NVDA AI chips are hyperscaling. PLTR is growing at at about 20 percent a year give or take on a small basis of about 2.5 billion. That is not hyperscaling. Their product has nowhere near the broad appeal of an operating system or smart phone or an EV. They just have a very dedicated community hyping them up like yourself based on 15 to 20 percent yearly growth with relatively low margins. I literally never hear anyone discuss their product in terms of what it does exactly or why it will be able to hyperscale over competitors. You need to better learn what hyperscaling revenues and profits look like because PLTR ain't it.

When might they be included in the S&P 500 and how much would the share price be affected?

Maybe you can comment on PLTR having a PE Ratio north of 170, whereas Microsoft is around 34 and GOOG is around 23. NVDA is PE ration 63.

What do you make of the fact that Palantir has one of the biggest share giveaways to its employees out of most any company. Won’t that hurt the average stockholder overtime?
