Used the baby goat in flamingo yesterday and that thing PRODUCED! Snook we’re going nuts on it. Along with the catch 2000 (been using that lure since it came out!)
I caught a 31 & 36” snook off the Green Lantern Goat setup with a 1/4oz Redfish Eye jig hook on the Wakasassa River 🙌. Thanks for sharing your videos.
I used some of your tricks and advice when our season opened last year. My boat limited out four days running. I'm listening C.A. Thanks.
Paul I love hearing feedback like this 👍🏼
Looks like wacasassa CA.
Hey CA. How we re you fishing the baby goat? Swimming it? Jigging it? A steady retrieve? Also, what are your favorite. Odors for snook? For trout? Thanks.
Thanks great information.
years ago a friend and i went salt water fishing and i do mostly fresh water crappie fishing. so i tied on a chartruse 3 in. twister tail with silver specks and we caught 70 trout before noon.
I think you might be right Captain about the GOAT and Tarpon. Backfins look like a baitbuster but more vibrant.
Oh, I’m going damn sure feed a few of them with this new bait... it’s not going to be a secret for long!
@@flatsclasscharters I'll be waiting on the video. In the mean time I just ordered some GOATs, think I'll try them out. Tight lines Capt.
Always great Vids. Super informative. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love them....The goat.....they’ve worked really well for us down here in Pine Island sound.
Ca Richardson what is your favorite way to rig the baby goat and fish it?
Texas Eye Zman rigging system
Love the video. Recently discovered the Baby Goat and it has been great in the bays of SoCal for Spotted Bay Bass. I fished the pearl color just dragging with the tide in my kayak. Very productive, and like all Zman it is indestructable. I have used a variety of jig heads. Have not tried Carolina rig or anything like that because, simple has worked. I will be surprised and disappointed if it does not produce the occasional halibut. I just got the green/orange for a color alternative. I will also finesse fish this around the docks and boat slips. I really expect the BG to simplify my tackle box.
Great vid CA! boy is it great to know some good rigs for rocky bottom in this area and learn some good ways to fish when the wind is blowing (which seems like every time i can get out)
I've been using Gambler Cane Toads and Zoom Horny Toads for Snook for a decade. This will definitely be a more size appropriate alternative.
Dang it. Now I have to go buy some...
Great video. Also ...just about anything that swims in saltwater will eat the GOAT. I've caught Macks,Lady Fish,Pomps,Jacks Etc... on them too. It's an awesome bait and far more durable then the Strike King Twin Rage Tail(Lizard fish will tear up those rage tails fast). Also fishing The Baby Goat on a Ned Head/Mushroom jig like a swimbait works well in a couple feet of water or more. That flat head pushes through the water and creates a water displacement which leads to sort of a bit of vibration at the head. Which I believe helps trigger their mechanosensory lateral line system thus making them strike the bait. I believe when you throw it into a pod of fish that are busting on bait it gets their attention to deflect them away from the live bait and they cant resist those fluttering twin tails. You guys that fish a lot of DOA paddle tails & Gulp Paddle tails need to try out The Goat and also the Slim Swimz....one bait can last you all day long even with toothy fish. Very durable.
I love that they are actually called “goat” and not G.O.A.T 🤣🤣🤣
