Great install video!! Seems like a lot of us have the same idea, "The Bobber needs floorboards." I added a set of Joker Machine mini-floorboards to my bobber. So much more comfortable. Great idea and happy riding.
@@dadwithabike Very comfortable but with the serrations you have to be deliberate with your movements. My feet don't "slide" around to up shift or down shift. I'll need to adjust the shifter a little as well. Just haven't gotten around to it. Far more supportive then the stock pegs.
Looks great! I went with the Scout boards as I used the "Heroes" promotion to cover these and the Indian low wind deflector, otherwise would have done same as you. $200 for the word "Indian" is approaching stupid level from a consumer standpoint. I'm also adding a heel/toe shifter. Aeromach makes a nice one. Had this on my previous CVO Street Glide and it completes the floorboard "ergonomic" experience. Have fun!!
I installed those same aftermarket floorboards on my scout bobber 60. The only issue I have is they don’t flip up like the old pegs did. They go up maybe halfway. I worry if that will be an issue when I’m taking a turn and go into a deep lean. Great videos, keep them coming!
Thank you for this. So happy I watched it. Gave me the confidence to tackle it myself. I did spring $12 at Harbour Freight for the ring tool though. I have a backseat on my Scout 60. I was wondering everyones thoughts on putting those Boards on for the passenger seat as well?
Wanted to thank you for this helpful video. I followed your link to the buy the same floorboards and your video was my tutorial. Thank you for that. My riding boots are now very tight on both sides so I think I'm going to have to make adjustments as well. Hope you have videos for that! =)

Do those have the floor board tilt like the Indian one. The Indian ones you can set the tilt angle of the floor boards . It would suck if those stay flat
By tilt, do you mean the permanent position (so not flat) or just do they fold up and down a bit? I just installed mine and they ride flat but have a very small amount of tilt up when needed. I'm new to this so I may misunderstand. Thx.
@@claytonrhoades938 Nope, your dead on. There's a slit tilt for when you grind the feelers on the floorboard so there's some give. Normal riding, they are flat.
Love your ride, I've got the same war bonnet on my tank as well, but no one else here in Australia has it - I love that! What jack are you using and does it lift the bike completely off the floor?
So the jack is just a motorcycle scissor jack from Amazon (paid $70 USD for it). It won't lift the entire bike up but lets me to work on the front or back and also keeps it level for me.
@@dadwithabike D'oh! Much cheaper on ebay than amazon, but I'm leery of buying the last one, or the one that ships from china and arrives in 2 months. Worth it to me to spend the extra $60 on amazon - I'll have them in 2 days. Can't wait to see/feel the difference!

How is the lean angle compared to the pegs? Can you lean more or less?
I "feel" like I can lean more but I think that is because my feet are up a little bit. I did a lean-over test in my garage and it's fine.
