Evening Metra trains at Central Street - Evanston, IL (8/25/2017)

Today, after receiving my new camcorder (Sony HDR-CX405) in the mail, I decided to pay a short visit to my local Metra station, just for fun. It was definitely nice be back in the swing of things, and after a year of hiatuses, switching between video cameras (even using my phone as a video camera for a while), and multiple tripods, I feel like my setup is finally complete and I'll be able to carry on with my channel effectively and efficiently now. I start school on Monday the 28th, but I should be able to go railfanning once a week during September, and possibly even twice a week afterwards. I have also transitioned to Windows Movie Maker, so video editing should be seamless from here on out. Anyways, expect lots of videos in the future, 'cause WE'RE BACK!!!!

Metra probably has the best F40's. Even at their age and all the hard use they have been through they still run great.
