    not an exaggeration to say i have been looking for a calm and genuine productivity video talking from experience and not just reading an article with 10 sound effects every second

      Thank you so much! That's definitely the vibe I'm going for!

    Getting started is the hardest part.
    - I reduce friction by preparing for my next task in advance, but don't start working.
    - I intentionally step away for a good long break.
    - I return to everything ready to go and get started.

    You keep this vibe and your channel will grow my dude. This feels like escaping to a quiet room at an overly stimulating party. Refreshing and insightful.

    I never heard of it but it makes a lot of sense:
    It feels in a way a little bit like the superset..........which , you freaking just completed! I hope you enjoy your letter from your past self and celebrate it! :)
    I was glad to follow along your journey! Great videos!

    • @ChristianClaus13
      @ChristianClaus13  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I agree! I was thinking about adding a bit about the Alphabet Superset into the video because I approached it very similarly. I tried to do a little something every day for this challenge.
      I totally forgot about that letter!! I'm going to have to go find it and read it, although if I remember correctly, I did expect to be living in Helsinki already and have a steady job ^^'

    Thank you so much. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the weight of my dreams recently, because I want a lot for myself and for my future. At times my dreams scare me, but then again that’s how you know it’s worth aspiring towards. This has helped me get a perspective that doesn’t induce a bit of anxiety. That tiny amount of anxiety brings doubt which often discourages me from even doing the bear minimum. So thank you for sharing and articulating this idea.

    • @ChristianClaus13
      @ChristianClaus13  8 месяцев назад

      I understand! I've always felt that anxiety is often a fear of the unknown. Not knowing if you'll be able to achieve your dreams or not. But doing something small, something manageable every day can really help you push the anxiety to the side. It's no longer ✨the dream✨ but smaller, easily digestible tasks. Which can be completed each day, so you can actually see progress! Keep going! 😁

    Actually, this is genius advice to start a new activity in your life! This helps get no annoying anxiety. You can't get stress because you only need to do just the smallest-easiest part of "this hard job" and once you've done it you understand: "wow its actually not as I thought it would be!"

    Channels like this, that are authentic, and providing really good advice, are the hidden nuggets. I have heard this advice before, but not expressed so well. Tired as I am after I day of programming I feel I will open my computer and write a line or two on my pet project ;-)

    The video itself came out to be equallty comforting as the idea of practicing no zero day. You know, how you have a subject, that you think, wow I'm so grateful i got introduced to this subject by this teacher, otherwise i don't think it would have had such big impact on my life? Well, no zero day was one such subject for me, and I am glad i got introduced to it exactly through this video :)
    Thank you.

    No zero days works because life is a series of compounding actions. Just like compounding interest, over time compounding actions, no matter how small, can add up to something big.

    But not to many. Separate the signal from the noise" means distinguishing the essential from the non-essential. Prioritizing and establishing baselines for managing tasks involve identifying the most important tasks for you and giving them top priority by going "all in." Dedicate your full attention and resources to these tasks to successfully complete them. Other tasks could be held at the baseline, addressing only the essentials, following the "Don't miss twice 2 days in a row" rule - slow burns by keeping them as a reference for future processing, but for now, allocate fewer resources and attention to them. Later, return and prioritize these tasks once the most important ones are completed.

    terrible advice and extremely suboptimal. The ability to dynamically allocate time and redirect attention is critical.
    The problem is using your ego to choose your path detached from the experience of your journey. When you are thinking abstractly about goals, or better stated "wishes", that's when you are in fact in the worst position to decide your path.
    I'm not saying you should never do efforts toward self improvement, this is just a terrible metric to do this.
    It's much better to engage directly with your emotions and try to fully express them, then just try to send you down a path from a bird's eye view. Not saying you always have to act on whims, but you should learn to appreciate what drives your emotional state and integrate that into your decision making rather than alienate it.

    • @KVergara
      @KVergara 7 месяцев назад

      That'd be great and all if I could instantaneously understand and remind myself of what you're even talking about. "Thinking abstractly about goals"? Yeah, no kidding.
