- Microtech Glykon break down. Had a hiccup in there with something stupid, other than that, was totally fine. Used a torx #8 & #30, yep that is a 3 & 0, 30. Did it in double speed. Makes for better/faster video and knid of funny too. Thanks for checking it out. Appreciate the support. Like, share, and subscribe.
Possibly the 1st disassembly video on this. Couldn't find one. FB asked for one. So, within 3 hours of having, I recorded it. Thanks for checking it out 👊🏻
Thanks for this. Let someone check mine out and poked a cup and it disengaged the blade. Made the mistake of putting it back together with the blade full engaged and it was impossible to get the button off until I disengaged this little release inside with a razor blade from the back side.
Finally got a Glykon. You still have yours? Appreciate the vids.
No but I wish I did. I do like it. I want to get a hold of some of the new Gen 3 stuff. See this double spring I'm hearing about
@@FLATLINEBLADES yeah man I've played with all the new stuff, definitely worth the hype.
@@FLATLINEBLADES honestly dealing with both deadlock from hawk knife and microtech and owning both if u into OTF a lot I consider and recommend u getting a deadlock the deadlock much smoother and so much cooler then any microtech knife
Had a hiccup with the 2nd little plate going all the way flat, blocking it from accepting the screws. Torx #8 & #30 is needed. I skipped the cleaning of the spring part to save time. How the blade comes out & spring assembly is very similar to most OTFs, so I just went right back into putting it back together. It has really small screws on the clip side. Love the knife. It's possibly better and funnier, just to do double speed. 11 minutes is better than 22.
Does it use the dame springs as an ultratech?

Hahaha just *PHUK*
thank you for the video i recently bought my glykon and it was rough as dang and opening and losen the screws a bit made it a bit smoother and easier to open
Sorry this was longer vid than anticipated, ended up speeding it up a little too much, didn't come out great, but I'm glad a few ppl got something out of it. Thanks for checking it out
@@FLATLINEBLADES it didnt bother me at all actually
is it just my computer or is this video sped up? without adjusting the speed....
It's sped up, was more than I was trying to do. About half that. Messed up the video, it wasn't supposed to be that fast or the whole video. Apologies, lesson learned
@@FLATLINEBLADES
new to your vids. well this one.
gonna SUB.
i like how i had the option to slow speed down for once..
Great vid!
cheers FlatlineB*
So I took mine apart too a couple weeks ago. Same rear small screw issue as you had getting it back together. Interesting. May be a design flaw. Thx for the vid
That is interesting. I took it apart twice. Had problems with that spot both times. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for checking it out
@@FLATLINEBLADES any tips for getting those small screws in? I am having serious issues with it.
The video is playing super fast .
My bad. Wasn't supposed to be that fast. I messed this one up a little bit.
Thank you loved the video!!!
Appreciate the feedback 🙏🏼 Thanks for checking it out
Go to the gear icon and slow the video down to 75% otherwise it is difficult to understand.
Where did you get your Glykon? I can't seem to get my hands on one anywhere.
