Great collection you have both shared with us Joe Public.. thank you for that. As I said earlier we are beginners, but we have added them to our visit bucket list.... as your experience along with the videos give us great confidence in what to do and consider.... Please keep the kind advise coming it is wide appreciated. Thanks and take care out there and be safe. Kind regards Dave and Lynda
What a great top 2 we have been to both those caravan and motorhome sites and both deserves a number one spot. Stunning views from both but both very different , we live on an island with spectacular places to visit and our great pastime be it a caravan or motor home allows us to go wherever we choose. thanks to you both and the girls for taking us on your travels, we start a long weekend at another beautiful site tomorrow Cae Mawr on Anglesey one which you have visited . Stay safe and have a great time.
Had the most amazing time at Tintagel this Easter and ended up staying the following week. Fantastic weather and the most stunning sunsets from the van window. A visit to the castle with the new bridge is a must . Certainly agree with you on Dunnet Head with a day trip over to Orkney. Bunree with the nearby Coran ferry and a trip to Arnamurchan point but check the last crossing back otherwise you will have a very long trip to return to the campsite !!
Hi Bob, Jenny and Tara and Poppy in the background, loved your 5 coastal campsites will add them to my list. I’ve Already added Bunree previously, thankyou for sharing x
Thanks Bob and Jenny for a great selection of sites - especially Bunree ! Have fond memories of Dunnet Bay with horizontal rain one day and wall to wall sunshine the next. Suppose I should be used to "3 seasons in an afternoon ....". Thanks again. George and Trish. 😊
Thanks Bob & Jenny (good to meet you over the weekend!). Bunree will be uppermost on our list - so many new ideas from this collaboration, we'll need another weekend away to rewatch everything . . . Pete & Kaz
Bunree looks absolutely amazing, we loved your videos here so understand completely why it's number 1 - we really want to visit hopefully soon 😁 your video made us want to go too
Great collaboration, working my way through the other videos. My picks would be: West Beach, Hopeman, Moray (such a peaceful coast), Ardrioil Grazings, Uig, Isle of Lewis (just unique), Bunree (couldn’t not be on the list), Nagles, Co Clare (Wild Atlantic Way / Cliff of Moher), Edinburgh Club Site (with plane spotting via flight radar 24 app a bonus). Thanks for the video and for sharing your choices.
Great video, as always. We love Beadnell Bay because it’s not that far from home and we can buy kippers at Seahouses! Thanks for sharing some great recommendations.
Another great video👍. Our favourite coastal site isn’t one of the Big 2 Club sites but one we’ve returned to many times in Cornwall. It’s Penhale Caravan & Camping Park between Fowey and Par. Beautiful views across St Austell Bay, pretty good facilities and very handy for the South West Coastal Path and the beach/pub at Polkerris. There, our secret is out! 😁
we’d love to do the north east we liked beadnell bay site and also that tintagel site , a great selection thanks for sharing ( kirsty guessed the winner we also went there cos of you so thank you )
We agree 100% with your choice of Bunree at number 1. Another site which you may not have visited is North Ledaig Caravan Site. For us it would be a joint winner as it provides fantastic views from the site across the sea to Mull and Lismore. It also offers excellent walking opportunities from the site. Oban is only 20 minutes away giving easy access to the ferries to both the inner and outer Hebrides. Unfortunately the view of the site from the road doesn't give the best of impressions but the site is well worth a visit.
More sites to add to our list to visit - thank you for sharing. As we are about to start towing our VW Up on an a frame, it would be very useful to know, via some shared resource and given all the sites you have both visited, what the access (on the approach roads in particular) is like when towing - I remember your 'challenge' at the entrance to Houghton Mill and sites in Cornwall for example.
Have to admit I am another who went to Bunree because of you guys I just had to drive the the A82 also we were lucky the weather was great. First long trip we took the Adamo on. Now I have some new places to try one day.
We had a guided tour of Southport 😉😃 Very nice. Dunnet Bay is a stunner. We recommend the CAMC site at Stonehaven in East Scotland. We think you would like it 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev
Clashbuie site on Skerray Bay is a nice remote spot. No electric but bins & fresh water from a stand pipe on the road. Great for a couple of days away from it all. Sat-navs no good either so it takes a bit of finding but well worth it. A bit of a hike up to the owners house to pay site fees. It is set on a lovely little working harbour. The nearest place of any size is Bettyhill.
Hi Bob, we have just come from Southport { including Morris ons} and now at a site I thought might have been in your top 5 which is Garlieston, and have just finished off some great fish & chips from the visiting chip van.
My choices in no particular order Slapton sand ccc Devon, Normans bay ccc East Sussex, Hendre Mynach Touring Caravan and Camping Park, Barmouth, Wales, Uphill wharf and marina , Weston Super Mare, Pentewan sands Cornwall.Take care Gill
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garlieston, we were in the walled garden part. We enjoyed a super meal at the Harbour Inn & even the diesel at the local garage, two pumps wasn't the dearest at £175.9
Just come back from Bunree, cost £33 per night. Not the best in my opinion for that I would say Gruinard bay campsite. Cheaper at £24 even without paying a membership fee, which you don't have to. Small site, marvelous coastal views but for me what pips it is the added advantage of the wildlife. Numerous common seals basking on rocks while I was there and the bird life variety is astounding including Dunlins, Turnstones, Plovers etc. etc. The facilities were remarkable also for such a small site, with the biggest shower cubicles I have ever used on a camp site and these and the other facilities were immaculately kept by a lovely happy lady. Try it out !
Thanks, love to try that site, and compare. I just looked on the website and note that it's an extra £4 for electric and £3 for awnings per night, so quite close on price.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo had electric but never had an awning out because of the high wind, Paid £24 with no awning. On Bunree we paid for the awning but never used it, again because of the winds. Very close though to Gruinard Island that Porton Down infected with Anthrax but cleared of it in 1996 I believe. Love the Highlands.
Visited Beadnell Bay after seeing your video - it was glorious scenery and such a friendly site too.
We had a good time there last year.
Some of our favourites in there too and a couple that look promising 👍
great vlog both and so informative xxx
Some good sites there and I’m with you on number one Bunree - been couple of times - due to watching your vlogs ! Hope you’re enjoying your travels ☺️
We certainly are, thanks
Some very good options there thank you , a couple for us to try. Thanks for sharing best wishes Helen and Martin

Love Tintagel, often stay in the area when we go to the Royal Cornwall Show. The coast line is amazing. Interesting list, thank you all. Take care.

Love Caer Mawr, wonderful.
Stunning , I'm not sure I could put them in order, they all look amazing! X
I’m finally about to visit BUNREE so hopefully will see why you like it so much

Definitely like the look of Dunnet Bay. That's added to the list 👍
It is a cracking spot Alex.

We really need to explore the Outer Hebrides more next year!
Some great ideas, added to my ever growing list. Thanks for sharing Em xx 😘
Some great pitches on those sites overlooking the sea 😎

That site at Bunree would never have thought it would be in any. LOL it took until video 3 LOL
Bunree is stunning. It is one of the first places we would like to try when we get our Motor Home or Camper Van.
Great video Bob, some sights I’d love to visit there, is that wee doggie of yours a Cavachon? 🐶
Yes, that's Tara, my sister's dog.

Yes, we went to North Ledaig in 2017, great views, if you watch Glyn's video in this collaboration, he is using some of my footage from North Ledaig.

I could do a Top 5 Best/Worst sites for Towing a Car.

We'd forgotten about Garlieston, which was nice by the harbour. We're going back there this year.
First time for me & the weather has been lovely, but not so good tomorrow.
Hello Bob Sorry to trouble you but wondered if you could do a video on the reversing camera, which is fitted in your Swift.
Thanks very much.
I'd struggle to do a whole video about it, what do you need to know?
@@BobEarnshawMoHo hello Bob Would you know how to carry out the set up process
Thanks Ken
@@kennethcutts3111 there is no set up process, it came with the motorhome and I have never touched it.

Have you tried North Ledaig , not far from Bunree , lovely site and close to Oban
Yes went there in 2017, if you watch Glyn's video, he's borrowed a bit of our video from there!
Bunree is very nice but so is Stonehaven & so is Garlieston. We are hoping to venture higher North & take in Brora, Thurso & Sango bay next year.
Yes, forgot about Gairlieston, we'll be back there again later this year. So many great sites!

Can you take your dog to Tintagel castle ?
Yes, we took Poppy, she had a great time, have a search for our Tintagel video.
