Generally hard questions that involve multiple topics, like those questions that don't explicitly say simultaneous equations are needed when they actually are Thank you for you hard work sir 🙏
This isn't a very relevant question, but could you turn down the music on your intro a bit more? Because my volume was on full 100, since your voice isn't that loud when speaking, then when your intro came on it started blasting music and my parents thought i was listening to music😅, Thank you for your sick videos sir, they are helping me so much. Also a tip for a video i think could get you a lot of views is Finding a very hard question for each topic and putting it in 1 video. This is because some of us want to be prepared for any hard question on any topic. Thank you
So strange it does that as I have the intro music set to 40% volume! Maybe I need taking down another notch! I have made a video going over the 5 hardest topics and also lots of smaller videos going over tough questions, have you managed the check those out? Doing them all in one video takes so long to edit and upload so I've done it slightly different giving daily revision questions this year instead! 😁🙏🏼
Hi, these videos are really helpful, but most of them are either for edexcel or aqa and my school does OCR. It would be really useful if you could do more videos for OCR as well. Thank you.
@@Ilikesaucytoes more or less the same, just with slight variations and the inability to use a calculator on paper 2/5. however, different enough to warrant separate videos
For a hard questions video I would like questions where it is necessary for you to construct something and it isn't already obvious in the question. I think this covers lots of topics so the video may be unlikely, but I believe this is what I struggle on.
Same I do agree, that question, where you need to add something, is the question I find hard and where I lose marks. For example a probability question with some green and red counters, you would have to include algebra within and create two simultaneous equations.
50:32 for this question could you not have found out the missing angle through using angles in a triangle sum to 180, which will give you 40 degrees. and then said for the last rule that alternate segment theorem to find x as 60 degrees.
There are usually always more than one way of solving a circle theorem! Sounds good to me if it gives you the same answer and you thoroughly explain your reasoning 😁🙏🏼

Hi sir, Firstly thanks so much for all the help. You are truly such a godsend. One question: do you have any advice on a system for going about checking your answers? Sometimes I’m able to do this well and sort out any mistakes, but at other times I just keep missing stuff when it comes to double checking in an exam. Many thanks
A tip is to go through your working straight after you've answered it, since your brain remembers it more, rather than skimming at the end - everyone does work differently which I also understand
Put a symbol next to questions you definitely know 100% guaranteed you got correct so you don’t need to be checking them every so often so you can focus on those weak answers that you think it is wrong
When checking your answers, instead of skimming over them and missing mistakes, do the whole question again elsewhere. You're less likely to make the same mistake two different times
I got an 8 in my mocks thanks to ur videos. Hopefully this video will get me a 9. Thank u so much for these vids :) If i get a 9 i will buy you a coffee hahaha

Honestly Maths used to be so boring and me me feel miserable but for some reason, I really like it now, I find it interesting and I see how it is useful in many aspects of life and many different career paths. It's all thanks to you sir! I am aiming for a high grade after always failing Maths throughout highschool and will definitely be pursuing it at A-Level.
@Imaan Ali I know it's actually so cool. Like for example Iman, I was learning Inverse and Composite functions for Paper 2 tomorrow and I found out that Mathematical Functions are used in things like designing machines, machines that predict and forecast natural disasters, medical machinery and aeroplane machinery that regulate the speed and directions of planes. And that's only functions there are hundreds of other maths topics that have significant everday uses and that without them we would be really struggling. So when I hear all those who say "When am I going to use Maths in my life" I just laugh because I know how important it is.

@@TheGCSEMathsTutor Hi Sir hope you are doing good, Paper 2 today was really, really good. There were a lot of 3 mark questions that required a little thought but were not tricky to get your head around. Also there were a lot of relatively easy but high mark questions. There was a 6 mark question on a 3 way Venn Diagram and probability from that Venn Diagram. Also there was a 6 mark question on drawing a Box plot and comparing distributions. Also there was a nice 4 mark question on the Cosine Rule and Sine rule (two triangles) that we had to find two lengths with. Also there was an easy 4 mark Circle Theorem question (good job I watched your Circle Theorem video yesterday!). There was also a few other really nice questions, a 4 mark question of Currency and a 4 mark question on area where you had to work out the area of two rectangles and divide it by the number of people that would be in each rectangle and then state which rectangle offered the most area per person. So all in all a really good exam today Sir. Anyway onwards and upwards for Paper 3 now! Let's get cracking because our work is not yet done!
Another way to do Q16(the circle theorem one) is: as you’ve got a triangle in the circle (DBF) and you’ve got a tangent (ABC), you can see that angle ABD = angle BFD (due to the alternate segment theorem). Therefore if you can work out angle BFD, you can work out angle ABD, as they will be equal. So, to work out angle BFD, you first need to work out angle DBF, which will be 180 - 100 = 80 degrees (as opposite angles in a cyclic quadrilateral add up to 180 degrees). Then, you do 180 - (40 + 80) = 60 degrees ( because there are 180 degrees in a triangle). Therefore angle BFD = 60 and like I said before, due to the alternate segment theorem, angle BFD = angle ABD, therefore angle ABD is also 60 degrees

Not long left guys 😩
Best of luck! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
thank you so much literally
No problem at all! Best of luck in your exam 😁🙏🏼
for Q3 can you not use algebra and use x as 6x:2x:x ?
Absolutely! Just convert back into numbers after 😁🙏🏼
Hi for question 20b how do you know if the points are moving down or right or left ?
For Q11 I worked out the amount of litres he filled in 10 hour that was 180000 so he will not fill it in 10 hours as he is 20,000 litres short
Reduced my stress drastically🙏
I’m so glad to hear that! You’ve got this 💪🏼
I'm so scared. I really hope the long 5 marks Venn diagrams don't come up. I can never get them right
Don’t worry you can still get marks even for just working out a couple of them
Always start in the middle of the ven diagram and work outwards slowly and even if u don't get it all right you will get some marks
I KNOW they are so hard!!!!
I’ve got a few of those in my problem solving with Venn diagrams video! Might be worth going over 1 or 2 🙏🏼🙏🏼
so there is no histograms, frequency polygon and density in paper 2
It would appear not! 😁🤞🏼 download the checklists from my description!

@@TheGCSEMathsTutor OKAY FIRST I UNDERSTOOD NEARLY THE WHOLE PAPER OTHER THAN A FEW QUESTIONS AND SECOND I HAD BEFORE SCHOOL REVISION AND THE BOX COORDINATE QUESTION WAS ON IT AND I KNEW HOW TO DO IT
why is it always higher getting a better chance in GCSE? I feel like I'm getting dumb just for being in foundation paper. Is getting harder to find help on youtube videos with foundation paper. Is stressing me out
Maths is maths you find the foundation topics anywhere and he uploaded the foundation ones as well
I’ve got the foundation paper going live straight after this one here: ruclips.net/video/qM_9x-SlxS8/видео.html and I’ve got the full foundation paper 2 breakdown here: ruclips.net/video/daMkWC0pP68/видео.html
He got crazy amount of videos on foundation. If you literally search Foundation (your exam board) the paper and gcse maths tutor it will come up with a 2 hour rundown of every topic quickly + description links to videos with every topic that you need in more detail.
I've do foundation and there's so many resources online maybe your not looking hard enough
idk maybe because higher is harder...?
revising in the car on the way >>
