I wish the manufacturers of the vintage giant's, had a direct button, some had a tone control bypass, but I am not sure if they were as clean as the direct button is though?..
You wouldn't find a stereo cheap like that buddy I paid quite a bit for mine there antique they're worth a lot of money back when I was a kid that was a modern stereo compared to now it's an antique now
I had a 3600 which is same as 3800 but I am not using, it. it sounds hash. If possible get a 7T to mate with 510. it sound a lot better. 3600 & 3800 was using IC’s but 7T using transistors so they sound big different.7T and 3300 sound almost the same but 3300 is more affordable in used market.

Years ago, I was a owner of this set (510M) . Sounds ok, but not really adiophil. I love Marantz, but modern amps are quit better 😎

Love the nostalgia of old mc or marantz amps but the new tech for the $$$, is far more sonic and dynamic. But not bad for sownthing made in the 70’s!
