Minecraft Hardcore 081 - Please Let Me Out

After a bit more exploration in the mineshaft, we try to go back to the surface. Unfortunately, simple directions like "up" are apparently very complicated and so we get lost. We fight in a vast grotto, run out of arrows and torches, get lost more, get lost more, and then eventually begin mentally breaking down.
