You have to land on the traffic block while it's on the right, but there's a low overhang. Madeline can duck to get through it, or if you're really fast you could dash left. From there you'll have your dash back and a closer wall to climb. From the starting spring, I usually wallkick then dash straight right so I can fall faster. The trick is not holding right too long so you don't hit the spikes. Good luck!

Thank you! I really appreciate how well-hidden some of the secrets are. It rewards you for noticing that something is just a little different than you expect. And it's not all of them that are hidden like that, so you don't feel like you need to bash into every little wall. Just really good design in my opinion.

yeah when my friend and I looked up the record at work and saw 52 seconds, I just started cracking up. It's so funny when the gulf between a beginner and the top level is immense. 1 to 7 in one go? That's awesome! Perhaps I'll try that one day. I'd need to practice the individuals a lot to make sure I'd have the mental power to get through without getting frustrated and lost lol.

I bet a bunch of the early strawberries would be relatively easy for me to see solutions to, now... but I could probably find a way to mess up the attempts a few times on the way to success. I've sorta forgotten most of what the early levels were like, I'm sure it would make me feel like I knew how to play the game haha :)

I'm glad I picked it back up, too. It's really a wonderful game, I am going to try to not get all dramatic if I get stuck again. I ended up getting the boost jumps by accident a couple times when I needed them to progress, and totally played it off like I meant to do them if I recall correctly. Probably going to tackle Chapter 6 soon.

Ahhh. I remember the platform going on the diagonal, but I thought that one just did that automatically. I must have been holding the inputs, subconsciously wishing it would move like I needed it to, and then it worked and I didn't realize that I was involved.

Picked it back up and had some success with chapters 4 and 5! Wanted to thank you for your encouragement.

Ah might as well say there's 7 chapters since that triggers the ending, the other two are DLC for folks wanting something harder.

It's just... it feels satisfying to get through a room, but I can tell that it's going to be tons of frustration going forward. And my whole life in the modern era is based around avoiding things that bother me- it works super well and there are no problems with this approach. Do I want to be a person who is good at games and can figure things out? I do, but I don't think I want that as bad as I want to give up. The world is full of games I'm not gonna beat and I guess this is probably one of them.

This is the best game there's ever been and it has a lot to teach you about yourself and about the value of a challenge for radical self change. I understand if you don't wanna play it anymore but beating it will change your life and maybe even your philosophy. If you can tweak your mindset until each death feels like the next step in learning how to win, that can take you to new heights in your real life​@@TarquinGaming

I did end up picking it up again yesterday and getting through chapters 4 and 5. Once the moving platforms had been explained to me it wasn't overly tricky to move forward, though it wasn't exactly smooth either. Perhaps we will reach the top after all.
