I know someone will disagree and that's fine but I honestly think Rami was the best person to play this role, for me no one else could have done this part as well as he has.
+@@JaninaDaisy Yeah, I just saw a video where someone said Sacha Baron Cohen would have taken over the movie instead of disappearing into Freddie. Rami Malek *did* disappear into Freddie. It was an amazing performance, and if he doesn't get an Oscar nomination, I'll go to Hollywood, find the Academy headquarters, and just start yelling at everyone I can find.
I totally agree. The first time I knew Rami Malek was the actor who was going to portrait Freddie in the big screen I immediately thought YES! I saw Mr. Robot I knew he was a great actor obviously, but also he kind of had something that physically I thought with the right costumes and stuff he could really look like Freddie. And then when I saw the first official picture of him as Freddie, I was sure it was going to be good. Last weekend I saw the movie and honestly thought the movie was great, everybody was right for every role they played, it was fun, sad, entertaining; and at one point I really got so immersed in Rami's performance I thought he really nailed it. He deserves to get nominated for this movie for sure.

Liz Brian well, I’ve seen it 5 times already. Mostly because I’m afraid of loosing the opportunity to have this special feeling of presence during the concerts since I’m a big Queen fan. And what amazes me: while watching it, I was never bored.

Just want to say, this was a really good interview. Very thorough and stayed on topic and didn't interrupt the actors, this is actually probably the best interview ive seen
If I had to mention one thing that was missing from the Live Aid set it's the big white clocks that Queen's roadie Peter Hince aka "Ratty" bought and had put up in the wings so the bands could keep to their time slots. Wonder why they missed that detail? They got everything else spot on.
My best movie of the year also. My best movie probably in my life. I am seeing it for the third time soon. I have never gone to the cinema three times for any movie.
Awesome seeing Rami and Joe working together again. I remember seeing the both in the pacific and remember saying they're gonna go into do great things....And they did.
Americans don't do English accents all that well but both Joe and Rami did a great job. All four guys did their characters proud. Wonderful ensemble work. Glad they didn't go down the salacious path and concentrated more on their music.

They kinda look like the try guys in a parallel universe
From left to right:
Zach, eugene, Keith, Ned. I don’t think Remi looks like eugene but the others all do and they both have black hair so kinda similar.
You are insane, and I love you for it.
WTF are you talking ab... Oh I see it now. You're right 😂
i agree. the best movie i have ever watched in my 36 years...fantastic...seriously and finally i realized for me that Queen is the best Rock band in the world. Without a doubt :)
Raja Baney beatles #1. Although I LOVE Queen. Beatles still #1
@@audrasitarek9113 with do Respect the Beetles are legends too. But Queens music made me have Goose bumps and when i watched the movie i saw most of the people shaking their legs to their music and that was magical moments for me. Hope you watched the movie too Audra Sitarek :) If only he Freddie Mercury lived longer :( . May he rest in peace.
Raja Baney yes I did I loved it!
I can't take my eyes off rami. He has become Freddie mercury for me.
the casting was perfect and the actors soo good
.....beautiful 80s,....Queen was just one amazing rock band,...but there ware many with brilliant and amazing background stories and top music,...hope some will come to life like this...some day soon
My favorite part of the movie is the humor. The cast killed it too.
Yes its REALLY funny
I loved Rami for this role, he really pulled it off .
This Is an Award Winning Movie; a must See. My Wife Marita and I Went to See it at Robinson's movie theater; Calasiao Pangasinan in the Philippines on October 31 2018
What a great interview!
Just want to say, this was a really good interview. Very thorough and stayed on topic and didn't interrupt the actors, this is actually probably the best interview ive seen
this movie is pretty good and I love Rami malek🤣
i need to see every piece of backstage footage there is lmao i will never rest otherwise
If I had to mention one thing that was missing from the Live Aid set it's the big white clocks that Queen's roadie Peter Hince aka "Ratty" bought and had put up in the wings so the bands could keep to their time slots. Wonder why they missed that detail? They got everything else spot on.
Rami Malek I like his voice
The stars certainly did align........
Darn I wish I was an extra at the live aid scene that would have been so amazing
Lucy Boynton is amazing, her accent is just wow.
maybe the best interview with the cast that I watched so far
My best movie of the year also. My best movie probably in my life. I am seeing it for the third time soon. I have never gone to the cinema three times for any movie.
Awesome seeing Rami and Joe working together again. I remember seeing the both in the pacific and remember saying they're gonna go into do great things....And they did.
The movie did not seem that long, honestly. I was so excited to see it so I could have seen it again and again lol
Americans don't do English accents all that well but both Joe and Rami did a great job. All four guys did their characters proud. Wonderful ensemble work. Glad they didn't go down the salacious path and concentrated more on their music.
I agree! It's a phenomenal movie.
